Overall idea and concept is the same thing, however the performance is quite poor compared to the Steam one. The 'power' is much weaker and weapon system is different, etc... Also everyone own weapon packs and OP perks so if you're not planning on dumping in trillions of dollars on a flash game you'll pretty much not going to have fun. You could give it a shot, but I don't recommend you to spend any cash on it, although it's safe.

hmm ssl2 was much harder,i mean to hit with weaps like sniper was pretty hard beacause aim was weaker so very complex to use,in steam it s much easier. ps: i think you should not beacause like rum mario said you have to spend lots of money on it and competion is really unfair(basicly the reason why i hate nerfs in ssl steam where there are 600 hp and much weaker weaps and ALL can get thems by playing)
Even through all the updates and all the work kChamp has done, I must admit one thing (which might start a new debate again): SSL2> SSLS. Over time, this has been proven true. Updates to the shop and clan section are scarce or non-existent. Games feel more like a grind, even with the xp reduction. I can play SSL2 for hours, but can only play SSLS 30 minutes before being bored. Although SSLS is a good game, SSL2 is the better game. bb now.
I agree. ssl2 was great because everything was fast and rewarding. But the only way to get the game like that is to spend money. Plenty of content, plenty of rewards, plenty of players. On the steam version, everything is slow. It's like it was meant to have microtransactions but there obviously won't be any. Give it a year or two. The steam verion by then will hopefully have enough content to justify the horrible grind.
False. SSL2 is the same thing for players who don't spend hundreds of dollars to buy the so-called upgrades. You get beaten up real bad in the first 35 levels and must grind with low leveled players for hours and hours to finally be able to bring their armor down to zero. SSLS is more balanced in the way that everything is acquirable by everyone. The flash version already has the cons SSLS has and on top of that, the p2w. You can play SSL2 for hours because 1) You bought things 2) There are more people there. Keep in mind the updates are still being released. In fact, update-frequency wise, I don't think the game is stable enough for us to make a solid statement as to which is better. If your SSL2 account has premium contents; how can you even compare a p2w game with a non-p2w game when you're in the payer's position. Obviously the former would be better. I actually agree with this part.
It would make more sense to play SSL2 first before coming to steam. That's like going to a 5 Star restaurant one night, and then going to a McDonalds the next day. If you are curious about it though go right ahead and play around a bit to see how far the game has come. To actually compare the two though as far as game play though is kinda hard because it's a P2W game against a Pay to Play game. I did some math and you are half right on this. On the steam version everything seems slow, but this is because of how fast and rewarding ssl2 was. The current xp here to get all of the levels is about 1,000,000xp. The amount of xp that you need for SSL2 to get through all 10 prestiges is 1,275,000xp @ 127,500 per prestige which means the steam version requires you to go through two less prestiges than in 2. Although ssl2 does have higher multipliers and deluxe which speeds things along, there is still a 275,000 xp difference between ssl2 and steam and the fact that you have to pay deluxe in tcs which requires even more box grinding or countless days to even get that. I think that (DISCLAIMER: I am nowhere near an expert at social behavior and what I'm about to say should be taken a bit lightly) the reason why though here seems grindy is because SSL2 is done in smaller chunks. Every time you level up you feel a bit better about yourself and more motivated to play more because of the progress you gain. Here, since at the later levels the jump from 86-87 for example is soooo long you feel like you are getting nowhere at all, spending hours playing just to still be on lvl 86. This especially doesn't help when you jump 1-30 on the first day lol. Its even worse that the last 800,000 xp is in the last 20 levels which is where the real slow "grind" is. Imagine after your first prestige though it takes 127,500 xp just to get 1 weapon in SSL2 and you have to restart each time. Here it just removes the starting over part and just makes the last levels painfully slow. Tl;dr: Its how the levels are set up to make it seem grindy on steam, when you really need to do more work on SSL2 to get everything level wise.
I think you may be right. Maybe the problem with the steam version is that in between prestige levels it's almost a desert in terms of rewards compared to ssl2. It takes less work than ssl2 but there's less goodies thrown in your face making it more dull. In which I say for the millionth time, this game needs more content to fill in these gaps.
That's the thing: I didn't put any money into SSL2. I'm one of the few who didn't pay a cent, yet got to a high level. Not saying the only, but most others spent something. I didn't. Also, everyone can acquire everything... but some will always have more than others. How many people in the next year will be lvl 100? Not many. Unless you are literally absorbed in this game, you probably will never get there. In other news, I predict this game won't last more than a year because I don't think it will ever come out of BETA. The updates come slowly and are not helping very much. I'd prefer more weapons than four to come out at once in a large update, rather than it coming out slowly. Also, what happened to adding stuff to the shop? It's been a forever since anything was added. And, in addition, the clan section remains empty. Clan leaders were excited that their clans would be put first, yet nothing has been done for them. I find that unfair to everyone, as he made a promise and isn't acting on it.

Ok for those of you who are new to SSL2 im just gonna say its sooooo much easier to lvl up now. ever since all the higher lvls left this game is overcrowded by low lvls. so in my opinion if you were to start right now, without spending money, then you would have the full experiance without to much trouble. now most prestiges know its hard to find full prestige games so we do allow low lvls to play with us to get some experiance on what they can look forward to
I disagree. I don't think the game is overcrowded by low levels, I think the game is overcrowded by the poor-player high levels (the ones who play multiple accounts, public accounts, who act terribly and shoot their teammates, who quit immediately after missing a shot, etc.) They aren't very good players, but they use dirty tactics to win, or they make the games less fun. I think a lot of the nice, good players left for steam. I still like the game very much, but I think the average player quality has dropped significantly.
well yeah that is true but the majority of people i see arent prestiegs, considering how many game i get kicked out of now lol, but true there are people who are poor prestige players but without the good players around they really have no competition to learn how to be good
