Now this might have been a visual glitch, or an actual bug, but I shot Frogs through a 2x damage. It only registered the first "frog" that went through the DD as getting bonus XP for the buff. Although the shot did ~160 damage on two targets, it only showed that the shot was "buffed" on one of the bullets. So either the bug that I described occured, or it was a visual glitch and didn't visually register that the 2x damage was applied on the first bullet that hit Any help would be appreciated!!
Many weapons that split or fire multiple shots only register the first one for the buff bonus and you can only recive this bonus once per shot.
This actually applies to every weapon. All buffs are determined so that the particle that hits the x2 also has to hit the opponent. If you hit a buff with a main particle (i.e. Helicopter Strike), it will give you the buff bonus if you deal damage. If a bullet that doesn't hit the player gets it, you won't get the buff bonus.
Ah I never noticed that, thanks alot. I just was making sure a new weapon being broken wasnt a thing.
I honestly don't care whether or not he fixes it. There are more pressing issues to fix, like Awesume's picture in the Peculiar Pictures thread about glitched tournies.
