    I agree that seagull needed to be nerfed, but it didn't have to go from the best weapon in the game to the new shooting star. Seagull is almost not worth using anymore. Also, people paid money for this weapon so it seems wrong to make it useless now. If your going to make a weapon like seagull useless you should at least upgrade some weapons like floaters.

    I did some experimenting with the seagull. Comparing it to Shooting Star is pretty accurate. There is absolutely very little skill in its use as it shoots about randomly. Just as likely to hit yourself or teamates as an enemy tank. That being said, I did manage to find a way that it can generate 135 to 200 dmg pts most times (still an element of randomness that can make it score very little, nothing or even negative), but it absolutely requires one burn a shield with it else you hit yourself.

    The Seagull is now worthless, I must say. It's next to impossible to do no damage to yourself, which in my opinion, should never happen with a weapon. If you shoot it wrong, so be it, but now it is shoot and pray.

    This isn't fixing the (obvious) overpower of the Seagull, but making it nearly useless.

    Not necessarily true. It's a situational weapon. Before the best situation was a straight up 90 shot while stacked on enemy tank and shielded. That's no longer effective. Firing it over a grouped enemy still provides good results.

    It flies a small distance before starting its rain, so firing at a flatter angle to get it away from you diminishes the chances of hitting yourself. Also, having a little hill between you and it helps, keeping the angle of your shot in mind. It's also not a good idea to fire it over top your teammates. I've found that around a 45 degree angle with a power of 60 ish from behind the crest of a hill can provide a fairly decent result. Trying to use it against a very close enemy tank without using shields is a bad idea tho. But throwing it out over top a string of enemy tanks gives good results, especially if the seagull itself hits.



    It's definitely not a good weapon to use from the back ranks, but from the front it can still easily net you over 100 pts in dmg to enemy tanks. I'm averaging 135 to 160 with it and have managed as much as 199. Not the monster 350+ dmg it used to give, but not a "worthless" weapon either.

    yep. it's pooping damage is now based on the distance between you and the enemy.. I did 166 on myself in firing range.. so like 166 with armor on a person with almost full armor. It's a good weapon still.
