Somewhere around 1 and a half hours...

Really nice animation skills, smb! I love the way how Ultraviolation smoked. Kinda cool to see dreams come true ;)

They are good ideas. Jalapeño is probably my favorite.

Come on guys you can add content too! Once you learn it's really easy. I make these in less than 15 min.

Wow, I love these animations! I'll probably try to make one too sometime, but I have almost no experience with this.

That's actually really cool, and great animation.

EDIT; I think the smaller Planet's should do more damage.

I love them all! too bad I suck at photoshop and everything so making this won't be easy for me.. but this is so awesome though!
Smb could it be possible you teach me how to make animations like this in a private chat? With anyone else who doesn't know how to start one of these and would like to learn it?

if he s going to teach someone,is better to post it in a public thread, and also, make it sticky
and make sticky this thread too.
its a very good idea, because an image wirths more than a thousland words...
so an animation still worths more
    great idea for suggestong weapons...
and a very fast way for developing wep packs and... PRESTIGE WEPS...
PD:i think planets should be a prestige wep.

Because of demand, here is how I go about making these. Remember I'm am not super-skilled at this, I just know the basics.
This is going to be quite long.
REQUIREMENT: adobe flash professional cs-something. I use cs5. Unfortunately many of you probably won't have this. You can probably get a free trial, or use some shady methods to get it.

Step 1: Open the program. I usually choose actionscript3
    upload_2014-2-25_12-22-44.png

Step 2: Here is your screen. Currently there is 1 layer. You can see the layer in the corner. Rename that layer "background"
    upload_2014-2-25_12-21-25.png

Step 3: Make a background. I like to take a screenshot of tanks like this.
    upload_2014-2-25_12-24-53.png
After you have the screenshot ready and saved, go to file, import to stage, then your picture. Resize it using the third button on the toolbar on the side. If you are unsure, hotkey is "Q".
Step 4: Make the weapon layer. Press the new layer button. It is the button that looks like a page turning. It is the button in the very bottom-left of the screen. Name the layer "weapon".
    upload_2014-2-25_12-28-50.png
Now you need to make a weapon. On the side of the stage (not on the background picture as that can mess up the layers), draw a weapon. Or, using import to stage again, add another picture.
Drag your mouse over the picture if you drew it or simply click the picture if you imported a picture. At the top, click modify, convert to symbol. You can just click ok.
    upload_2014-2-25_12-35-15.png
After this drag your weapon over by the nozzle of your tank. You can resize it.
    Step 5: ANIMATION!
Do you see all the frames at the bottom next to the layers? Right click on about frame 60. Click insert frame. Do this for both layers.
    upload_2014-2-25_12-39-23.png
Right click on any frame in the weapon layer. Click "create motion tween"
Click your last frame (about 60). Drag your weapon onto your opponent. You should see a line.
    upload_2014-2-25_12-41-52.png
Click the top button on the toolbar. If unsure, hotkey "V". Then click the pathline somewhere in the middle. Drag it up to make it a path.
    upload_2014-2-25_12-43-10.png
Press enter! See what you've done so far!!!
    Step 6: Special Effects
Do you see the small dot on your last frame. Thats called a keyframe. If you want anything to change, you need a keyframe.
Make sure you have the last frame selected. Click on your picture of your weapon. Go to color effects on the right. Try one of those. Press enter and see your weapon change!
    upload_2014-2-25_12-48-21.png
To speed up or slow down your shot, at the bottom find "fps". It should be at 24. Change it as you wish.
To add a special effect in lets say, the middle of the shot, click the middle frame for the weapon, around frame 30. Right click and press "insert keyframe" then "all"
Press enter. Now your weapon changes twice!
I can add more special effect stuff if you like.

Step 7: Export and show off!
Save your program. Then, click file, export, export as animated gif. You then can choose your quality.
Then, go to shellshockliveforums.com, insert a comment, and upload a file! :)

    Hope this helps!

Hmm that seems to be a common problem. Unfortunately I'm not sure whats wrong.
After some research, this seems to be working for some people: (I got this from here)

    Please, follow the steps.
    1. Open "Start"
    2. Then, you can find the program list....
    3. Select the Adobe Master Collection Folder.
    4. When you enter into this folder, there are Adobe programs...like Photoshops, Illustrators and so on...
    5. Mouse over "Flash Pro CS5"....Caution!!! Don't click the left mouse button....just clikc the right button of the mouse.
    6. At the end of the line, there is "Properties"...then, click...
    7. You can see the "Compatiblility" tabs...then, click it.
    8. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode" and select Windows NT.
    9. Click the "Apply" button....
10.....Then, no more freezing when you import the images.....
