I always aim it as if it is a heavy shot, because about 60-70% of the time it explodes upon contact with the ground. Is there a trick to it, so it doesn't fail so often?
Always arc it and try to make sure it hits a flat bit of ground, becouse if bounder hit's abit of ground that is rasied (even slightly) the it will explode str8 away.
The main goal is to shoot the weapon so it touches a patch of terrain angled toward the closest opponent to that landing spot. Shooting it at terrain that is not angled toward the opponent will make it explode sometimes, because it will shoot directly into the ground. You can test this in the firing range. As long as the terrain is angled towards the enemy tank, it will shoot for it 100% of the time, even from across the entire map. It doesn't always hit when you do this, though, so it's not recommended.
I mean I shoot bounder directly at the tank, so that in case it fails (60 % of the time) at least it still does dmg
