Thats a good idea but it should be a really low chance. What about block where the weapon only does half of the damage it would deal normally?
1. Mini-Gun: Auto-targets in the general direction you're shooting in, firing five pellets like Mini-Turret that do an extra 3 damage per piece. They scatter randomly, also like the Mini-Turret pellets, so not all will hit unless up close. Select it to activate in the lower HUD. 2-turn recharge. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Damage Compressor: Decreases damage from any weaponry by 20% for one turn. Does not reflect any weapons, but will cause an exact 20% decrease in damage per pellet that hits the tank. Select it to activate in the HUD. 3-turn recharge. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Turbo Pack: Moves your tank faster. 30% speed increase, which gives you multiple great perks, such as grabbing a box before someone else does, or moving quicker to your destination when time is running low, or being able to move quickly to prevent stacking. Permanent perk that is always in effect, although perhaps an option to turn it on or off may be a good idea. Alternatively, have it as a switch for on and off, but when in use, increases your fuel usage by 25%; so if you have 240 fuel you will only be able to use 180/240, and the fuel indicator will drop quicker to compensate. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Claw Tracks: Increases traction by 20%. With this increase, at maximum traction, you should be able to climb even the steepest of inclines with no problem. Somebody shot a Wall in your face? Use Claw Tracks! Somebody shot a Digger on you? Use Claw Tracks! Need to be that annoying player with the Seagull who uses a shield and fires it upward and wants a way to get out? Use Claw Tracks! Select it to activate in the HUD. 2-turn recharge. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Super Cannon: Increases firepower to 200%. Twice the velocity, twice the distance. Doesn't add any extra damage but this can be used to steal air boxes, get your shots to your opponent before your other teammates do to prevent unintentional aim miss, or reach over/burrow under terrain that normally isn't possible. Select it to activate in the HUD. 3-turn recharge.
if you move over a tank it could have a chance to do damage to the tank that the other person did last turn every 5 turns (including teammates)
I saw this, thought of shooting a Firestorm or MegaNuke and not getting any damage on them. I cried a bit.
Thief: You steal a weapon when passing an enemy tank I guess this could be annoying ^ I think it would also be fair to have an option to disable perks for your lobby if you don't want to play with them.

Perk Ideas 20 tc~ Teleport- have the ability to teleport anywhere on the map of your choice recharge: 1 hour 40 tc~ Add a "mini perk" to grappling hook so you can automatically zipline per se to the closest enemy tanks position recharge: 1 hour 20 tc~vest- increases armor for 1 turn by 25% in turn reduces your fuel by 15% recharge: 1 game
I like these ideas but I think that all recharges should go by turn or by game. I know i wouldn't want to play for 3 hours and only get to use my perk 3 times :/
well I based them on advantages and disadvantages. perks aren't meant to make this game more " pay to win " than it already is so you have to give limits to them.
Even though the perks are cool, buying one is literally paying for an advantage. Weapon boxes are somewhat random, so they limit this, but when buying a perk, especially when I'm spending 60 TC's, I just want it to be worthwhile.
I think the current oes people just jumped on cause they are new. We gotta treat them like wep pack 6.
Well they are advantages, which is the entire point of them. I think tank customization like this has been long, long overdue. The prices of the perks though, yeah that should be lowered. Ones like Super Cannon should be 80 TCs, not a grappling hook that has a super low chance of grabbing a box. I could buy a Weapon Pack for the same price and get a great weapon in ~75% of my games anyhow. Total waste of money.
so there are two perks currently and each one has 3 subperks, is that correct? Can you have all perks and subperks on at the same time?
Well from what I've heard, yes you can have both perks. Only one sub-perk can be chosen from either perks.
you all see the small sqaure by where it has level 5? next to python? why not put it there? like something you can click and it can show your special abilitie.s
It wouldn't dodge the entire firestorm... Only the meteors, flames and stones (and of course like really low chance). EDIT: I actually did the same thing in another old thread... I was brainstorming ideas of what to do with the little square, when it turns out, the square was only empty in Firing Range.
Ricochet Allows your shots to bounce once if they don't hit the target. Bounce and flare weapons will bounce off the terrain one more time before it activates. Turret Fire a turret along with your normal shot. This isn't like Mini-turret or normal weapons. Instead, you will shoot from the turret instead of your tank next turn. (This helps you get shots in from elsewhere and of course, you can still move your tank) These can be very powerful though, so they might need a long cool-down.
I like the turret idea, seems very original and thoughtful of you. I can tell it took you a long time to think of these ideas. One thing I need to ask you, what purpose does Ricochet have? Any flares fired, will bounce regardless of how you shoot it. The greatest bounce, will be at the start. Then it gradually decreases the height and distance of each bounce following the first bounce. The last bounce will not bounce high or far enough to make a difference to your shots. The only use I see with Ricochet is with grenades where the bounce is limited to 5 bounces. The bounce weapons too of course, just not the flares
