Quitting Emblem

As the title implies, it would be interesting to have an emblem in which you can estimate how many times a player has quit.

    For example:

Say someone quits 25% or more of all games they have been in. Their quitting rate, or QR, would amount to a 1/4th or more chance of them leaving a game.
That QR is quite high, so they would receive a red emblem.

On the other hand, those who have quit less than 25% of the total amount of games they have been in would obtain a green emblem for their reliability.

This seems like a simple solution, and would act nicely as a filter one could go by to determine who they wish to remain in their room.

(I realize such an emblem has been mentioned before, but this has a working system behind it.)

    Possible Visuals:

Oh lord, Dolphin and a good match rate. Seems unnatural to me, even if I haven't played him in a couple years.

There could be a thing that allows for whenever someone times out (Disconnects).

Like, if they time out, it wouldn't be counted in the Emblem, and if they happened to time out, they would get 3 minutes max to rejoin the game.

the timing out thing needs a lot of tweaking but that would be cool

Yeah, like the emblem only starts to be activated when someone actually presses the 'LEAVE' button in-game.

Good idea, but the bad thing about this is if there's team killers... people might rage. It might be the rager's fault or the team killer's fault, but there should be an emblem like a dot for team killers, like if someone's team/enemy hit percentage or something is below for example 0%, as the percentage means the amount of team killing over enemy killing there could be a yellow dot, then 25% could be an orange, 50% black, 75% red, and lastly, 100% could be a warning sign like this:

but obviously smaller and better design related to the game's graphics, etc. Something like a triangular sign. Though I doubt anyone will be team killing all the time except when they've just joined the game, but for the 'pros', there has to be a time where they accidentally hit an enemy whether if it's attractoids, or roller, or more...

Maybe it only measures consistent behavior, instead of the occasional goof-up that will and always happen

This sounds like a good idea and especially all the good additions in the comments, but man will it be a complicated system and a lot of programming (Especially for an internet browser online shooter) and most probably a lot more memory as it would have to keep track of a lot of new records.

(Then again I know nothing so don't pay attention to me)

Well, maybe it could be like the last 10 games or so.

I mean like how many out the player's last 10 games have been quits.....It would save a lot of storage as oppose to keeping every game.

I sometimes disconnect a lot and have even disconnected 5 games in a row because of my weirdly unstable internet, then i give up and stop playing for a while.I usually don't try to play another game after i disconnect from 2 or 3 games in a similar time frame. Despite this i still wouldn't mind this being implemented i would just have to be more careful. My wireless seems to be staying stable now though so that's good.I like this idea :D

While I'm not against the idea of tracking positive conduct :)

I see two potential issues here. The less difficult one to deal with would be differentiating when you quit after you get blown up, since its a different kind of quit.

I think a difficult issue would be differentiating if you left the game because of things other players did in the game. I honestly don't stay around in rooms with 1) players that purposely mess up the game (like teammates blocking your shots on purpose or shooting you), or 2) extremely vulgar, racist, or sexist behaviors. A penalty given to people leaving bad situations could be unfortunate, especially if you get unlucky with a string of these in a row.

I'd rather them just quit the game and leave than to sit through 3 shots not shooting. With time outs not effecting the system, everyone would just sit there and time out instead of hitting leave lol.
