Scavenging basically means that: when a tank in battlefield dies it leaves weapons behind. I would like it to be possible for anybody in the battlefield to be able to grab the weapons of a dead tank left behind, so good weps don't go to waste.

This would add another level of strategy into the game. Because you can't just walk far forward, because if you die, tanks of the opposing teams could grab your weapons too.

Being teammembers with the guy that died gives the entire team an edge on the other team because they could wonder: Is it worth going to this tank? While the dead guy can simply tell which weapons he has left.

In my opinion this would add another layer of depth to the game which would indefinetely make it more fun.

Sorry for the late reply, if you know what I mean :D

I agree with you. But one more add on your suggestion, it would be nice to get random weapons from the dead tank's weapons because if the player dies in a single turn and has all sorts of OP weapons like Nuke, Needler, Spligger, etc...This can cause ragequits, and unfairness. Other than that I perfectly agree with you, except this suggestion was already suggested before :D

Well I think thats what gives the game more depth, no randomness. Also I think only 1 weapon can be grabbed per round, to give others a chance to get some of the action

This is more like minecraft, where if you die, you can pick up your items before they disappear. This would be good if you had a certain amount of time to pick up items before they disappear. But I think you can pick up as many weapons as you can.

As many weapons as you want.. But limited to only 1 weapon per turn per dead tank.

Soz, but I already posted something very similar to this. I don't remember where, but it is on the forums somewhere. I said that it would be nice if someone RQ, or D/C, their weapons should be distributed amongst the team that player was on. Because all you are missing when you lose a team member is his/her weps.

I don't want them to be distributed. I just want them to be able for grabs

Yes, one random weapon from the dead tank's inventory.

How about one random weapon from the dead tank's selection, then two random ones?

No, I don't want to get raped with sub-sniper each time an enemy is dead.

Maybe we should add one catch - the tank becomes like a timebomb. It just exploded. It - somewhere - is likely still on fire then. Sooo... what happens when the fire hits the weapons supply? Those weapons should go off - yes there's an explosion that scatters. But no grenades, nukes, sticky bombs, fireworks, seagulls, etc., go flying at random. Same explosion regardless of inventory. The explosion should be based on the unused weapons that aren't scavenged. So now the question is - stay with your guys for scavenging or try to be a bomb for the rest? Be very interesting if it was either shoot or scavenge, but not both in one turn.

Seems like a new radical idea. I think it should be about 3 or 4 random weps the dead tank had.

or it could just be when someone dies they leave a box behind that will just be like an extra crate which will give you random weps from your own arsenal.

Naww, like Google said we could just get 3 or 4 random weapons at once from the tank's inventory. It would suck if an opponent just sticks to the tank and gets like 20 weapons.

you would get the amount you would get from a crate....its a regular crate like the ones that drop. not 20 weps wtf?

Well if the player in your team dies instantly in a single turn, you could get at least 10 weapons. Not 20, lol my bad.
How about 3 weapons with 50 points and 50 armor?

i like the idea of scavenging weapons and possibly armor from a dead tank, but my idea was simple, just a box appearing as a normal box, that would contain what would be given from a normal box, when the person dies.

That's a pretty good idea. But I liked the fact that the weapons would be from that tank. And you could grab 1 weapon per turn. You could tell teammates what you had left when you die. But your enemy wouldn't know it.

This would work well with longer games, like a 1000 hp deathmatch.
