    I have devoted some time into creating an official guide of SSL2 which covers all aspects of the game. It is unfinished so any suggestions and additions, maybe I left something important out? It would be very helpful so please do leave some feedback. I will continuously add tips and tricks, for the best way to use certain weapons and your feedback as well. Also, if you have any tips or input on weapons please do give. I'm trying to make this as interactive as possible. Feel free to discuss weapons and all aspects of the game.

    Level 1 (Shot)
    A shoot n splode weapon with a small explosion radius. It deals 10/11/12/13/14 damage.

    Level 1 (Heavy Shot)
    A slightly larger shoot n splode weapon with a larger radius. It deals 20/22/24/26/28 damage.

    How should they be used?

    Weapon Pack 6 weapon tips(from what i know)

    Grenade Storm:Use on flat ground for the best results.A large hole can work.The big nade usually go quite far left or right though.Damage : Big Nade:70 Little Nades Level 5

    Anvil:Shoot like an airstrike as its hitbox is smaller than the actual anvil dropping.It can also can be used to get yourself out of a hole if shot close to a mountain(not so close that it hits you though) Mainly a prep weapons as flat ground is a useful ally. 65 damage lvl 4

    Rampage:Use with semi even terrain between you and your target/s.Its pretty much random despite the evenness but at least 3 should hit.By the flat ground can work but sometimes they just go under or over the enemy. Each does 20 damage at lvl 4

    Sweeper:Each of the sweeping projectiles can only hit 1 target before disappearing.They also don't bounce off the purple wall.If on even terrain with target/s use 90 degrees 0 power the projectile doesn't hurt if you hit yourself or someone else directly(Warning the sweeper projectiles can hurt teammates) Damage each does 39 at lvl 4

    ShockShell: This weapon doesn't have a timer like roller.It doesn't go through team mates(it hits them and does 0 damage) so try to be in front of your team mates.The weird arcing of the weapon cannot be changed so be aware of that. Damage 58 at lvl 4

    Mine Layer: Damage changes due to distance so try to have your target in a hole.Generally you can hit 4 of the explosions no matter what sort of hole.Though stay away from big holes as its bouncing is quite unpredictable. Damage: Each does 28 at lvl 5(max range)

    Spiker: Use on either flat ground for 3 or 4 to hit or hit a sorta nearby hill.I have yet to distinguish the average distance the spikes fall to. Damage each does 26 lvl 4

    Attractoids: I guess use on flat or semi even ground(basically no trapped targets) Oh and they are pretty much useless in wind.They home if you hadn't guessed but they are not very accurate really. Damage:Each projectile does 3 damage at Lvl 5

    MegaRainbow.A useful tip i got given is to have your target on the edge of your aiming circle and do either 96,96 or 84,84.This usually hits all of the projectiles if you and your target are on semi even ground.They go through ground so they are also good for hitting walled in opponent or ones behind a hill/mountain.Oh and the damage it affected by range bit long range max damage requires very good accuracy as the shots sortaspread out in mid air. Damage:31 Lvl 4(max range) for each projectile.

    Fighter Jet: Use when fairly far from target for all 4 fired projectiles to hit.Even ground for you and target to makes aiming easier.If on even ground i use angle 45 power 5 but if i feel i know the power needed for the height i do 95 degrees and my chosen power.It starts shooting pretty soon after it launches so don't use on a protected target.Damage: Fighter Jet 70(max range) Shots:20 each Lvl 5 Also the actual fighter jet's damage is affected by range i just found out.

    Uh idk if this will be useful i kinda just did it on the top of my head.You can modify it and use if you want but if you don't that's fine too. Good luck with the thread it will be hard work i am sure but totally worth it in the end. Hope some more helpers come by though.I will help if i can but i only have wp6.This is also not written that great so i might edit it if i feel the need to.

    Also no offence but wasn't this also a goal worked for in Deception's ssl2 guide?I know you stated you know but do we really need a specific thread for weapon tips.

    ok, here is wep pack 2:

    Volcano: If ur target is not on a steep wall; just shoot it like bulger (I pref full power, its a better feeling :) ); if ur target is on a steep wall, aim about 1 tank distance above the tank; many of these napalm things will stack to it then.

    Payload: the small bomb drops on the highest point of the flight; this is exactly the half way u r aiming at; to hit both with out bumper/wall, just aim 88 or 92 with a distance that the small bomb will hit, the radius of the big 1 is big enough ti hit ur target too. A nice information, if u use a bumper so that the big bomb goes up again, it drops another small bomb ont the next highest point

    Torpedoes: I saw many different ways, some strange, some awesome ones; the success of this wep depends on wich side ur enemy is; on the left side: aim with 225 (45 degrees underground to the left side) and use the same power like u r using 3-ball or 5-ball or whatever; on the right side: aim 45 degrees above the ground. yes above :p ; the power should equals the half distance, cause the shots will go the other half underground. the differentiation is important, cause the shots should stay together; if u switch my advises; u get a straight line instead of a bunch of shots. This degrees r only for shots, where u and ur target have the same high or a light difference

    Waterworks: very simple without wind, just shoot it exactly on the head of ur target to get the maximum of dmg; with wind (7-9); aim about 3 to 4 tank lengths left or right (depends on the direction of the wind) of ur target

    Blob: considered one of the worst weps, but only for these who dont know how to use it; very simple; just aim straight on ur target with full power with a maximum of 3 tank lengths; there only is 1 thing to care about; it wont explode like shot if u aim too high, so it will go through ur target without exploding, my advice: just use it if ur enemy is on a wall, not on a hill

    Snowstorm: u have to be very lucky or u have to play with a calculator if u wanna get the full dmg; but there is a save way of using this wep too, but not with full dmg: on flat ground get it to the middle of ur target. the snowball in the middle will hit it without bouncing, but the others will bounce 3 times and hit ur enemy

    Splitter-chain: use it in close range to get the max dmg by using it with small power when ur enemy is a bit lower than u or with a smart angle if hes a bit above u

    Tripple-Jumper: aim with 100 power and 89 or 91 degrees about 2-3 tank lengths distance

    chancer: or better cancer; just us it like sniper; maybe u r lucky and get the big explosion

    Yin yang: savest way is using 100 power and the best fitting angle; or with angles greater than 50 degrees and the best fitting power

    I hope I didnt make a mistake, I hope it helps some ppl :)

    One-Bounce
    A weapon that bounces once, lands and creates an explosion where it landed. It deals 40/44/48/52/56 damage. The explosion radius is similar to that of Heavy Shot.
    One-Bounce can be used in various ways. The simplest way is to trap an enemy in a hole. Next, fire the One-Bounce slightly to the side of the hole (near the bottom). Using One-Bounce up close to the enemy can be considered an alternative option. Both methods are illustrated in the pictures below.
    Note: It is advised to use the second method on flat ground.

    Three-Ball
    Fires three shots in a similar direction. Each shot deals 20/22/24/26/28 damage. The explosion radius is similar to that of Heavy Shot.
    Three-Ball is an effective weapon which can be adapted to suit many different situations. A simple way to learn how to use Three-Ball is to fire it with angles close to 45 (aiming right) or 135 (aiming left). Three-Ball is not a distance-based weapon so it is advised to use it close to the enemy, in order to increase accuracy. The technique in using Three-Ball is illustrated below.

    the explosion is wide, but not high. Even being one tank above or below the "flare" you fire will mean it misses the target

    You can't fire it through teammates, but you CAN fire it over them. The "weird arcing" CAN be changed, practice it in the firing range. You can't fire it far through the air, this means you can be behind your teammate and fire it over them. This helps a lot if you are above them too, because then its easier to fire it over them.

    Once you learn how far they go, you can actually do amazing things with this at times.

    Even ground doesn't matter so much. The most important thing is that targets are not below ground that gets in the way. The projectiles go for the closest target no matter what, so if you have two really high targets, and one really low one in a hole, none of them will target the one in the hole.

    Basically fire like sniper but use the highest possible angle for your shot. I regularly get max damage at 100 power and 79/101 angles, and can even easily one-shot-destroy tanks with this if I get a x2.

    There's surprisingly little information on any weapons anywhere in the forums, so I welcome this sort of guide :)

    All you need to do is aim twice as far as your target for the best damage, and if you can angle it so it hits the wall bumper to bounce back, you might hit your target twice :)

    If you learn how to fire tunnelers below ground only, instead of the into the air first approach, I think this attack becomes fairly easy to use because its like firing a tunneler and a heavy shot at the same time, one above ground, and one below, at the same angle and power.

    I like how you quoted several posts. :)

    By the way, Yin Yang can be used as a regular shot providing it is lobbed. However, never use it on an enemy clinging onto a hill. The tunneling shot goes beyond its target. This usually happens in long distance arcing.

    For Yin Yang, it really depends on the steepness of the hill and whether you are level with the target. Basically, as long as you can hit someone with a straight tunneler shot underground, and you are level with them, Yin Yang will hit easily. If the hill is too steep and you can't hit them with a straight tunneler from your position, then you can't hit them. But if you are close enough, it can still work.

    Well my guide that i wrote on top of my head without even trying out my own things just got its butt handed to it.Oh well i will try some of the stuff you suggested Erile. :) Oh yea i did say that spiker can hit a lot if used near a sorta hill but i didn't know how to really word it.By the way it can also do quite good damage on slightly curved ground from big explosions as they all go in the middle :)

    That's the spirit!

    Yes, Spiker can do an overwhelming amount of damage if used correctly. I've seen it do slightly over 200 damage. It's almost considered even better than Needler, were it not for the simplicity of using Needler.

    Fires a small cluster of 10 Sniper-sized pellets in a similar direction to one another. Each pellet deals 3/3/4/4/4 damage. This weapon is not distance-based and should be used close to the enemy. This provides increased accuracy, ensuring all the pellets hit. Another way of using this weapon is to fire it at 100 Power and 89/91 Angle. Both methods are illustrated below.

    Note: The second method should never be used unless it is necessary.

    Splitter

    A weapon that splits into two just before landing. The main shot disappears after splitting. Each shot deals 20/22/24/26/28 damage. The explosion radius is similar to that of Heavy Shot. This weapon is not distance-based and should be used close to the enemy. This provides increased accuracy, ensuring both shots hit. The method for using Splitter is illustrated below.

    Breaker

    A weapon that divides into two after breaking. The main shot disappears after breaking. Each shot travels 2 tank lengths away on opposite sides after breaking apart from the main shot, each dealing 20/22/24/26/28 damage. The explosion radius is similar to that of Heavy Shot. To ensure full damage with Breaker, this weapon may be used if an enemy is within 2 tank lengths away from the barrier. The method for using Breaker is illustrated below.

    I actually quite like using splitter at range to hit two targets. But they have to be the right distance apart. This is especially good when one is almost done for. ;)

    On the mega rainbow, the right side aim is 84 and should be 96... This is looking good too! I didn't see it before or I would have been helping too! I have been looking at the new post thing waiting and never saw this until just now. Just let me know what weapon packs / weapons I can help with and I will.

    I do need help with Deluxe, Retro Pack 1&2 weapons. Everything else I've got sorted. Hope it's not too much for you, if it is just give me a shout. I'll log onto MAT or ask somebody else.

    I still need to make screen shots for a lot of these to add in. Let me know if I left out any of the ways to use these weapons or if I need to add anything.

    Delux


    Burst-Fire - Burst fire can be used all 3 ways of aiming. High aim you want to be 1 to 2 degrees away at most. This is to create a large hole for the enemy to be put
    in. If you are on a flat map then you want to put the edge of your circle over the front wheel of there tank, then use 100 power and 6 degrees of angle.
    All shots will hit like that. If you're on dirt and have medium range then I'd use a 45 angle. At longer range then just try to aim under them as they will dig down.

    Artillery - It's pretty easy to use and a strong weapon. Always try to hit about half of a tank to the left of them. This will ensure that all 3 of the artillery
    strikes hits them.

    Super-Splitter - It's always best to use this weapon at a 45 angle. If something is 30 power away I usually go down 2 power to 28. This will help make all of it hit
    and does more damage. Best used close range to about 6 tanks away (3 degrees away). It can be used a little longer range but that isn't as easy and doesn't do as
    much damage.

    Super-breaker - This is an awesome weapon to be used close to the walls and when someone is parked on a hill so it hits them more times.

    Magnets - These can be very powerful if used correctly. Always try to hit the length of the enemies barrel away from them. So it's just to the side of them. On a
    flat map it does 140 damage at level 5.

    River - This one is distance based and always used at a 45 angle. An easy way to use it is place the enemy tank on the outside edge of the circle and use 43 power. If
    you are comfortable with knowing where 50 power hits, try to hit right at the back of there tank and you will get 160+ damage.

    Ghost bomb - Pretty simple and easy to use, large radius. Can be shot any of the 3 ways.

    O attack - Best way to use the O attack is a 45 angle and about 2 tanks away at 14 power.

    Sinkhole - This one can be shot any of the 3 ways but you need to try and hit as center on them as you can for the most damage.

    Flying V - Best place to use Flaying V is when they are parked on top of a hill. It will hit 3 to 4 times on the right hill. Usually good after a builder has hit them.

    Chicken-Fling - This one can be used all 3 of the ways also. If you are 1 to 3 degrees away then high aim is good. If they are medium range then a 45 angle.. For longer range use 100 power and a straight aim. If they are on dirt then shoot just under them. If they are on flat ground then shoot at the top of there tank.

    Bounder - It usually bounces back and hits who ever is closest. Sometimes it explods on contact so it's best to hit as close as you can.

    Blossom - If you ever catch people parked against a wall, use this on them first chance you get! This one will do massive damage and dig them in deep. Never use this on someone parked on the side of a wall. Try to catch them on fairly level ground and hit dead center and it will do good.

    Flattener - This one can be used to pull yourself up out of holes and can trap others in holes. If someone is parked on the edge in front of behind a hole, put this
    at the lowest point you can close to them and they will be pulled down. If someone is already in the hole and the other is on the top edge, you will have 2 trapped!

    BigBoomerang - This one can be tricky. Most people just straight aim and aim a little higher than normal weapons. A good thing to learn with this one is 45 angle shots. 45 angle and 50 power hits the edge of your circle, 100 power hits exactly 13 degrees away which is 103 left and 77 right.

    Sprinkler - The best place to use this one is when someone is parked on the side of a hill. The more steep of a hill they are on, the better. Try to hit low on there
    tank and it will do the best damage.

    Groller - This one is easy to use. try to hit about 3 degrees away from them on a fairly smooth map. On the rough areas you might need to hit more close.

    Back-Groller - Same as the groller, just from behind.

    Starfire - This one can be used with all 3 ways of aiming as well. Close up is 100 power and 1 to 3 degrees away. Medium range is a 45 angle. Longer shots is best to aim just under them so they sink into the line of fire.

    Mega Builder - Easy to use just like the small builder, just hits 4 times instead of 5.

    Cat - Basically like massive shot.

    Double-Bounsplode - The trick to these is a flat map or a big hole. On flat maps/the bottom of the map. Use these just under 2 degrees away with a 45 angle and 11 power. They will get 140 damage when you get it down.

    AC-130 - Just try to hit as center on the enemy as possible and it does awesome damage.

    Floaters - Worse weapon on the game. Lucky to get 14 damage.

    Slammer - Aim this one anyway you like, basically another massive shot that hits twice.

    Dj Bomb - Aim this one anyway you like also.

    Tricky Box - Aim this one anyway you like also.

    Corkscrew - Best to high aim or 45 aim this one. If you're straight aiming it, make sure you have room under your barrel or it can blow up in your face.

    Crazy-Nade - This one has to be used in a good hole. Usually best after a digger/mega digger. It is very bouncy so it's best to 45 angle it into the hole.

    Lightning - Can be used most places and not too bouncy when it lands.

    Counter - This one is distance based and best at a 45 angle.

    Spligger - These are best at a 45 angle and anything from 12 to 19 power away.

    Instant Replay - This one is distance based so the farther away the better. It's best to high aim if you know how. If you have to straight aim it, Remember to aim
    lower because it stops early in the shot and fires from there.

    Gravsters - Best to use these with high aim also. You can 45 angle them but make sure you're barely has plenty of space away from the ground or it will blow up
    in your face.

    Needler - This one is best to be straight aimed. To make sure all of them hits, use it about 8 to 9 degrees away while they are parked on the side of a hill.

    Minions - These can be used all 3 ways. From 1 to 7 degrees away can be high aimed or use a 45 angle.. Longer range straight aim them just a hair low.

    Tri-nade - Just like Multi-nade.

    Bullseye - This is distance based so try to stay back as much as you can to use it. Always try to hit center and can be used all 3 ways of aiming.

    Chunker - Just like another massive shot.

    Satellite - This can be used at a 45 angle or high aim. just land it close as you can. It doesn't work if it lands to far below a person on a hill either.

    Holy Grenade - This one is very bouncy. It is great for most any holes near an enemy. Even if they are higher up on the inside edge of a hole, it will still hit them.

    Sticky Trio - Always used at a 45 angle. It is distance based so the farther away the better!

    Driller - It's best to high aim this one if you are able to. You need to hit as center as you can for full damage. It can be used straight aim also.

    TwentyFive-Ball - Always used at a 45 angle. Try to aim right at the back of there tank to get the best damage. Is best used medium range around 42 to 50 power range.

    Wobbler - Best to high aim. If your barrel is too close to the ground it can blow up in your face!

    Hexagon - There is a few tricks to this one. On normal maps, try to get people close to walls with a 45 angle. Aim as close to the wall as you can so it will open up
    and bounce some of it off the wall to come back and hit more times. On flat maps there is 2 tricks you can do to make it all hit on 1 tank. The easier way is to get
    EXACTLY 2 tank lengths away, 55 power and 10 degrees of angle. The second way takes some practice. You get a little over 2 degrees away, 100 power, and 5 degrees of angle.

    EE Bomb - It's like another massive shot, that's a good bit bigger.

    Rainbow - Like another massive shot.

    Proximity Shot - It's a smaller shot, easy to use on any of the 3 ways to aim. Just get close and it will correct it's self.

    FastFoward - This one is best to straight aim. On flat maps, get your circle just over the front part of there tank, use 100 power and 6 angle. On dirt, try to aim
    just a hair under them and 100 power from medium range.

    Gatling Gun - This one is distance based. Most the time it's easier to just use medium range and straight aim. If they are parked on the side of a hill get a bit farther
    back for a bit more damage.

    Mini-Tank - There is a lot of angles you can use this correctly with. The 3 easiest angles to learn and remember is 100 power 110 angle and 97 power 98 angle for the left side. The right side is 100 power 77 angle.

    Phantom - Like another massive shot.

    Kittens - You can use this one at a 45 angle or high aim either one from 1 to 2 degrees away. Straight aim it from any farther away. On flat maps, place the enemy tanks front wheel inside your circle and the rest of the tank outside of the circle, use 100 power and 6 angle.

    Wild One - This one can be tricky to get decent damage with. One way is placing it as perfect against the edge of the wall so it bounces everything back towards tanks close. The other way is when you see a low bumper sitting close above a tank, use it to reflect everything back down on a tank.

    Magic Shower - The best use for this one is from 2 degrees away and 100 power. Try to aim for the back of there tank from 2 degrees and a 100 power.

    Plasma Grenade - This one is distance based and does need to hit the tank to get the most damage. It does bounce a little bit so a hole can be good with it.

    Throwing Star - The best places for this is tanks parked on the side of hills about an inch to an inch and a half up. Try to hit about 1 tank away from the bottom
    of the hill or hole they are climbing out of so that when it spreads, they spread into the tank your attacking.

    Laser - This one can be used all 3 ways of aiming. High aim is normal with this one but straight aiming needs to be aimed low. It doesn't drop down as much as a normal weapon so Aim a little lower than normal.

    Great job! I didn't find any flaws at all and I'm sure anybody who reads that, finds a wealth of new knowledge on how to use those weapons. I will most certainly add this to the guide!

    Thanks and I appreciate that too! I am still thinking how I want to do the screenshots for it but I can edit those in here later. I will also include the angles screen shot I had made before as a reference to the angles/degrees away that I mentioned so the new players will know what I am talking about too.

    Tunneler

    When fired underground, the weapon follows a reverse-gravity trajectory until reaching the surface of the land. Upon reaching the surface, it explodes with a radius similar to that of Heavy Shot. It deals 20/22/24/26/28 damage. This weapon is not distance-based and should be used close to then enemy for more accuracy. Tunneler may be fired directly at an enemy tank, it explodes upon contact with a tank without tunneling underground. Both methods will be illustrated below.

    RapidFire

    Fires 10 Shot-like pellets one after another in a similar direction. Each pellet explodes with the radius similar to that of Shot and deals 5/6/6/6/7 damage per bullet. RapidFire is not a distance-based weapon and should be fired close to the enemy, ensuring all the pellets hit. RapidFire may be used in two different ways. Both methods are illustrated below.

    Palm

    Fires a projectile that bounces up and splits into 5 pellets, upon collision with the ground. Each pellet explodes with the radius of a Shot, dealing 15/16/18/20/? damage per pellet. Palm can be used at any range as the damage is not affected by distance. Palm may be used in two different ways. Both methods are illustrated below.

    The against the wall information is exactly right :)

    However, in other situations you shouldn't fire this weapon (or sprouter) directly at someone. You should fire near them instead to maximize damage. The direct hit only does half damage of the normal pellets of sprouter, and half of the first pellets of blossom. So a direct hit with sprouter only does 2.5 pellets of damage at most, when a near hit will do 3 pellets of damage most of the time. With Blossom, again, only 2 of the bigger damaging pellets can hit of each row, and they don't always hit on a direct shot. With a near shot, you get far more damage.

    You can get the most distance with 22-23 degrees from the horizontal.

    Best to hit directly for both explosions of damage. ;)

    Actually you're right about sprouter but I didn't write about that one. On the blossom though, I learned it's the same with a direct hit or a side hit. You still get the full 3 pellets with a direct hit from blossom, just not the sprouter. It's 126 damage with a direct hit either way with no crits. If there is 2 tanks close then I hit the sides on each.

    With the boomerangs, learning the 13 degrees away is a awesome game opener and it's easy to know/judge where that is from your circle with no numbers on turn 1. You're speaking of straight aiming boomerang which is fairly easy. I'm talking about using a 45 angle so it's a precise place you want to hit from behind cover on turn 1. It's a good way to learn to use it also.

    As far as the DJ bomb, I was saying you can aim it anyway you like as far as straight, 45, or high aim. I wasn't saying hit to the sides or anything like that lol.
