Great concept idea. However, I personally wouldn't want anything as such to interfere with my making a shot if it were to get in the way.
Good concept, I personally think this is a good idea. Lvl 50 players and above are less likely to upload inappropriate content than a newbie starting out on SSL2. Even if a Lvl 50 decides to abuse this, you can report the player.
I think that's a pretty cool idea and awesome you posted it. Little things like that can make this game more visually appealing.
Good work on the images, but I disagree. I think this'd be kind of, or very useless because I don't think any players would have an interest staring at one tiny picture. It's just a waste of data store.
"Very useless" here, let me log in ssl2 for the first time in months and see what's useless themes are useless tank designs are useless (except the flat tank) rims are useless achievements are useless ... basically, i dont think you have room to talk about "data store", and with the ability to enable or disable this, there's practically no downside
All of the stuff you just said refers to things that actually does something that're fairly distinguishing to the players. Themes? I don't think any players would actually love staring at blue for the whole times. Tanks? so you're like "alright so let's just stay with one classic weapon instead of having lots of weapons". Rims? Kyle has already mentioned they are for the most generous SSL players who are willing to support him. It's pretty much a new 'Tip the Developer' Achievements? Kyle has clarified that he'll be making a free coins reward by completing each. The image is way too tiny and just hurts people's eyes anyway, if we made it bigger it just gets in the way.

It might be distinguishing, but not fairly distinguishing but more like 'fairly disturbing' to the players. Do you seriously think people are going to enjoy seeing at one tiny picture. Most will eventually turn them off, and new players won't even notice the 'existence'. I'm sure we'll have a max.min. size per image, and I don't think we'll have zero players who upload inappropriate images, we don't even have in-game moderators and Kyle is too random to be moderating a game.
"tiny" its the size of the tank if they want to turn if off, let them, there are going to be some who want it and some who won't. I personally don't mind them, if you dont like it, turn it off and boom, just like normal, with that option there is virtually no downside oh yes, im sure well have explicit material uploaded, but a person that could afford or make it up to have that wouldnt be wasting an opportunity like that, like how i couldve made a custom map look like a penis or something tl;dr dont post for the sake of just posting
I think its nice Agent and Mario quit arguing. To go back on point, it would be cool to see something new to look at.
