well...they don't gain the xp before quitting, so in effect it IS lost...

Seems fine, but at prestige 10 it should be something like 5000xp. 500 is still nothing if you do a couple deathmatches.

Woah woah woah, that's taking it too far. If you have to leave for a real reason, and don't normally quit, that brings you down severely. I don't quit often, but when I do, it is for something going on in life. I wish the game could tell who was physically trolling, and who actually had to leave...

That is still WAY to harsh. What about people who having been slaving away in the early levels and got that far, only to lose all their work. That would disengage members. Kyle should increase it orderly, but 10,000 is far too harsh. There is a line, with 1,000 max and 10 min (obviously, we wouldn't want to lose ANY penalty we already have). I think over time, 500xp lost per game will be enough to stop the trolls, or at least for a little while.

Great way to penalize the people who leave because of cheaters, racists, bigots, and other such nonsense instead of actually penalizing the people who ruin the game for others :(

It'd be unfair... Sometimes we just lose connection, or we have important things to do and have to quit a game :p It wouldnt work very well :p

How about like a 5-10 minute forced time-out for quittting? That way if you got stuff to do it's not that big a deal and it would make repeat offenders have a long wait between quits...

That could work; we are on the right track. The trolls could wait until the last second to shoot, and allows them to milk more time until quit time. We gotta mix this with a better xp penalty, then it is far more far.

Yeah.... that's at least half the games out there, and I'm honestly being conservative when I say that. So its not bad luck, its statistically likely.

ytr / enginere(sp) and Bang(few more letters I dont recall) team up lately. first two on one team and the third on your team - after 1 round Bang whatever quits leaving you against 2. Meanwhile ytr instantly refills his health and his teammate gets "powerleveled" in this manner. Clearly against TOS. They need a permaban.
