    Right now crates don't have enough variety in my eyes, so how about we change that?

    Wooden crate:
    It rests on the ground like a normal crate, but rolling over it does nothing. You instead have to hit it with a weapon. It gives the same amount of loot as normal crates.

    Iron crate:
    Like wooden crates, these are only openable via hitting it with a weapon, except these crates take more hits to break. They hold a maximum of 4 items, and are slightly more likely to contain tank coins.
    c = hn/s/3

    Diamond Crates:
    When these crates are broken open, everybody on the team that breaks it gets a maximum of 5 items from the crate. The person who breaks the diamond crate also gets a 5 xp bonus.
    c = hn/s+20

    Variables for Iron and Diamond crates:
    c: Crate health
    h: Health setting OR number of turns x10
    n: Number of total players divided by 2
    s: The shooting setting (Individual: 4 - Team: 3 - All: 2)

    Cluster crate:
    These crates can either be driven over or hit by a weapon, and when they break open 2-4 normal crates pop out of it and spread across the playing field.

    Treasure chest:
    These crates are very rare and spawn underground. They are hard to see, and can either be found by removing the terrain surrounding it or by hitting it with a subterrainian weapon. These crates have a 2x bigger chance to contain tank coins, and otherwise supply a maximum of 5 items.

    Moving flying crates:
    These hover crates don't stand still, they will either move in a circular pattern, move up/down, or left/right. They contain a maximum of 4 items.

    Bouncy crate:
    By shooting this crate, you will launch the crate with the explosion(s) that have the crate within their radius. Good for getting the crate closer to you and teammates and further away from enemies. Contains a maximum of 4 items.

    Time bomb crate:
    When the crate spawns, it has a "5" written on it. Every time a single person shoots/team shoots/everybody shoots, the number goes down by 1. The crate explodes once reaching 0 doing 50 damage and randomly shoots out 30 fire pellets. The number of items in the crate depends on the number. 5 has 1 item, 4 has 2 items, and so on.

    The diamond crate, what stops you shooting it and doing 250 damage then the other team steals your box? Also, 300 is a lot of HP, it will take forever to open it, you will probably use 4 to 5 weapons just to open it...

    Agreed, 300 HP is ALOT. You would spend the entire game trying to open the diamond box, thats a tanks health! you would waste alot of weapons going to waste, for 4-5 weapons -_- . But, the rest sound great

    no i like the diamond crate idea, then your whole team could snipe at it and get a bunch of loot for everyone on your team, and how bout it has maximum hp amount instead of 300 (if you have 50 it has 50)

    What if its 1 vs 1? would the health of the crate change? or would you have to try and get it yourself?

    Hm, how about it's scaled to the total HP of each team?
    HP * Team Sizes / 2

    So for example, a team of 3 with the HP set to 100, the crate's HP would be 150.
    Well that's not really the best way to scale it, might even be the worst, but it's an idea.

    This would be a great idea. It would add more...depth to the game.

    How about, for the diamond crate, that if in deathmatch, the amount of HP to break it would be 0.8x the HP set for the game. For example, if the deathmatch was set at 150 HP, it would take 120 HP to open it. If at 250 HP, it'd be 200 HP to get the box.

    But then there's the variable of the amount of people that are firing at the crate. It's going to be easier if you have 3 people on a team firing at it at the same time, so it should have a bit more HP when there's more people on a team. I'm thinking .2-.4x for each additional team member, since obviously people aren't always going to be coordinating attacks.

    but if it gives up to 5 items for a whole team i think it should be 50 * amount of tanks alive=HP of box

    and for iron it should be 10 * amount of tanks alive=HP of box

    also for treasure box the box should have 100 hp no matter how many tanks alive

    That would be the crate which gives you 5 points in a point battle. The crate is just worthless then.

    I kind of like this. This crate would be colored slightly darker, like how the mini mushroom in Super Smash Bros Brawl is colored slightly darker than the mega mushroom.

    All sound great. Especialy 300hp of diamond box - makes u think which is better: enemy or box... or both with aoe. Now or wait until enemy hits it few times - I just love it.

    In a team death match the box would be quite useless. As the enemy could just shoot you to death while you are shooting the box.

    This idea sounds stressful. Considering how much people waste shots already on floating boxes, I can't imagine everyone spending the whole game doing it.

    Figured out a legit solution for the diamond crate.

    C = H x Number of players on one team / The shooting setting
    C = Crate Health
    H = The health setting on the deathmatch
    The shooting setting = 'Individual' - 4
    'Team' - 3
    'All' 2

    So, if you're playing a 3 vs 3, 250 health, and on 'All' Shot =

    C = 250 x 3 / 2
    C = 375

    Note - For 1 vs 1, the setting for 'Individual' and 'Team' is 4.
