    Yeah I'm in my HS choir! Well, tomorrow's actually my last day of actually being in it since I'm graduating soon. My voice part is baritone. I actually made the Texas All-State men's choir last year and the mixed choir this year which is an accomplishment I'm very proud of and I will never forget those experiences singing with such talented people.

    Here is a song which was near the top of the charts, but in modern times, has fallen into obscurity.

    This song was one of the best songs of the year. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song in 1979. I don't think it won, but what does it matter? This song was like the Uptown Funk or Rollin' in the Deep of modern times. Everyone knew it. Then, because new artists came along, they completely forgot about it. That is what I hate about the choir industry: It is too progressive. We don't remember some of the best songs of all time because it is always changing. Thus, despite the powerful meaning of the song, it shall be forgotten. At least I can revive it here for a short amount of time.

    I'll be the odd one out and share some classical music. It's wierd that even though I don't listen to classical music as frequently as other genres, this piece has stood out to me the most. Hope you enjoy it.
