How do I link my old SSL2 account to Steam?

I read, "Don't worry ShellShock Live Veterans, we have your back. Everything that you unlocked, purchased, and accomplished in SSL2 will be rewarded in the new game. Due to different leveling systems and upgrades, we can't simply copy over your information, but you won't regret it. "

How would I do this? I don't see an option in the game on Steam.

I worked my bum off getting lvl 40 in SSL and up to lvl 35 in SSL2, I don't have that kind of time anymore on my hands which is why the Veteran Rewards were so tempting. Looks good tho graphically. Refund issued. Have fun all

 

ummm i'm really sorry but even if there was a vet rewards you would not get a lot. don't hate me D: it's just how it is.

 

Game is still beta, or whatever the term is at this point. I expect vet rewards nearer to v1.00
Vet rewards were brought up a lot - over a year ago. Still probs a way to go.

Not so much on topic: Not to be rude, but level 40 in ssl1 and 35 in ssl2 isn't anything major. I don't see these providing much in rewards anyway. (Unless 35 was your prestige level, perhaps)

 

Lv40 in SSL1 actually requires a lot of patience and grinding compared to the Steam version and SSL2, especially if you have no deluxe. Weapons do less damage, no crazy XP multipliers, no all-shot mode, etc.

 

GUYS ONCE KYLE WITH A SPECIAL SALE MADE SOME PEOPLE BUY 10 K FUCKING TANK COINS WITH SAID "YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE IT IN THE NEW GAME" EVEN WITH A SALE 10 K TANK COINS WAS ABOUT 200 DOLLARS SO,IF HE DON'T ADD VETERAN REWARDS,WE MUST FIND A WAY TO THROW HIM IN JAIL.
i was joking but seriously taking 200 dollars from someone with a fake promise isn't cool,if you don't put veteran rewards you are a thief kyle.And i think that for this reason kyle is obliged to make this vetaran rewards that will be about 50k gears that could be usefull only if you have the option to throw em like a rich man too poor noobs lvl 10.Luckyly I didn't bougth anythings with that theft i mean sale.

(there was clearly said that the tc would have been usefull in steam version during the sale,so people clearly didn't bougth that TC to use in ssl2 also beacause you wouldn't need 10 k tank coins in ssl2)

 

I wouldn't be surprised if he made every 100 tank coins worth 1 gear

 

Gears aren't worth much tbh, but I wish XP could be transferred at least. A "veteran" badge or something would be neat too for players of SSL2/SSL1.

 

vet badge that would be shown in lobby ecc is a pretty cool idea,at least i would like it way more than another 3000 worthless gears :/ about xp i think it would be really hard since there is deluxe in ssl2 and there is not in steam version

Bruh, getting level 40 in SSL1 was a long grind. I have over 120k exp there and getting lvl 40 took at least a month. Around 3-5 hours a day playing with friends etc.

However, that's besides the point, if Kevin doesn't deliver on that statement, people can refund with that reason if they meet the requirements. Or, just boycott the game. He did keep his word by giving vet rewards in ssl2 so hopefully he does here. Though, he hasn't mentioned it in months.

 

Well guess what. It'll take you more than a month to reach lvl 100. It took me over a year.
