Originally getting the godray was plosable, we only had 100 players... I love to be able to say that it is no longer likely for 99.9% of people who play SSL to get godray, because it's so amazing how much this game has taken off! But it really isn't fair to have an achievement that so impossible to obtain... This is why I believe godray should be awarded to any player that defeats a prestige player. Alternatively if that is too easy, up it to a max level player. On a side note I think the godray should be slightly buffed so the projectiles home in on any tank within the beams, and likely more of them? Perhaps even nicer effects? But that is a side issue, and mostly caused by how underwhelming the weapon is for its current level of difficulty to unlock, Anyway, thoughts guys? Do you think this is a good solution?
ive spent hours trying to wait for updates just to try and catch kchamp. with all those hours being wasted by updates either coming one day early, or one day late or being delayed. The latest one got bumped twice. supposed to be on the 8th, got bumped to the 15th, then the 16th, around 10pm my time i saw an update saying 17th. so i logged off, and he made the update 3 hours after changing the date of the update to the next day... even when im lucky enough to be there when the update happens, its damn near impossible to get into his game. Especially for us lvl 100's, because of the thing where he needs to change the max lvl difficulty... by that time the game will be full and will stay that way until he logs off 4 games later. He should either be online more than 10 games a month or change the achievement slightly or (this might be abit biased here) give the top 50 players of the game or top 100 a chance to get the weapon. All of the lvl 100's have invested so much time into the game that quite frankly i think we deserve a shot to play him.
I got lucky and found him when I was around level 50. Around the update when they added train and tadpoles which was in April, haven't seen him in a game since though. Good luck.
everyone that said "no" probably is a player that got godrays when there was 5 players online..........seriously one of SSL main purposes is to unlock everything and making it impossible for new players isn't really fair............and to be honest god rays is an average weapon so that achivement is more a pain that something really useful/nice for SSL. I think it is nice to have a really special weapon that only a few people own,but it should be unlocked on a dedication/skill based system,for example as the ultimate champion achivement or something similar
