XThe newly implemented 'Prestige' system has been highly criticized, but it has a lot of potential and probably will end up being changed at some point in the future anyway. Though I will say I love the new visual overhaul kChamp, much work is going into the game which I like to see, but here are some of my Prestige Ideas to grant a much more rewarding outcome for people who choose to prestige. X Prestiging in the Steam version should have a much greater effect on the player than in Shellshock Live 2, I believe that when a player prestiges, they should get the following: Icons An icon next to the name of the person that symbolizes their current prestige rank, each prestige level would have a different one. Having these badges would also allow for many added to the game for other accomplishments (see: Achievement Unlocked) having a different badge for hard achievements. Weapons The weapons for entering a prestige should get exponentially better and better as each prestige is technically 50 more levels each and a ton of new time spent playing the game. While they should not be better in a damage view, but better as in cooler and more appealing to players. Tanks Parts For each prestige, the player should unlock a respective chassis, tread, and gun relating to the prestige. These would allow for more customization with the tank. Bonuses Every prestige should grant a 'Goodie Box' where you pick from 5 boxes with question marks on them granting one of several items including: Upgrade tokens, gear rewards, tank parts, a free item in shop, or more items. As for each prestige, so far I see them as elemental upgrades. There has been a fire, a water, and a nuke and here are my in depth ideas for each prestige. *Work in Progress* Prestige 1: Earth Icon - A dark green gem shape Weapon - Armageddon (Shoots a large flaming rock flare on the ground, asteroids fall from the sky to make a hole, and then 3 fireballs pop out of the ground causing damage, at the end a huge moon falls from the sky. Damages everyone with an earthquake. Chassis: Fortified Gun: Stonebrick Tread: Boulders Effect: Tank leaves behind the rock crumblings everywhere it goes. Prestige 2: Ice Icon - A white snowflake Weapon - Blizzard (Shoots 10 near-full sized snowballs, and then a larger version of hail) Chassis: Shards Gun: Icicle Tread: Snowflakes Effect: Tank has a twinkle effect and has snow particles float around it. Prestige 3: Air Icon - A navy blue swirl Weapon - B-52 Bomber (Shoots a signal that calls down a barrage of bombs one after another, and then a blanket) Chassis: Nimbus (Cloud Shaped) Gun: Windswirl Tread: Hover Effect: Tank will lean forward when it moves, and release little cloud trails. Prestige 4: Fire Icon - A red circle Weapon - Scorched Earth (Shoots a large napalm ball that spreads and then jumps to a new area spreading more, jumping again, until finally landing and exploding into a firey vortex) Chassis: Sizzle (Flame shaped) Gun: Flametip Tread: Zagged Tread Effect: Makes the tank glow red and have cinder particles Prestige 5: Magnetism Icon: A red and blue triangle on top of each other Weapon - Dipole Crash (Shoots a red and blue bounsplode that explode normally, but when they touch each other they create a "soft nuke", multiple collisions can occur and don't count towards bouncing) Chassis: Ingot Gun: Horseshoe Tread: Friction (Flat base that slides on ground) Effect: The tank creates an aesthetic forcefield around it, it strengthens when around other tanks. Prestige 6: Water Icon - A light blue teardrop Weapon - Cyclone (Shoots a dark shot that forms a spiral cloud and shoots 10 lightning strikes, and then drops down rain, and hail while debris blows in from the sides of the map) Chassis: Tidal (Shaped like wave) Gun: Raindrop Tread: Dew (Circular with mini-circles inside) Effect: Makes the tank drip water Prestige 7: Aether/Gravity Icon - A square inside a triangle inside a circle Weapon - Pendulum (Shoots a large steel sphere that plants itself in the ground and then is lifted up, it swings back and forth hitting enemies, until it is finally released randomly as a bounsplode) Chassis: Arrow Gun: Gravity Spiral Tread: Light Swirl Effect: Adds a starry effect to the tank, but also a ground earth effect. Prestige 8: Space Icon- A yellow star Weapon - Orbital Gun (Shoots a large white sphere with gun pointed, it shoots homing bullets like a chopper during it's flight, and it pauses at it's apogee continuing to fire) Chassis: Planetoid Gun: Shooting Star Tread: Asteroid Belt Effect: Puts a glowing ring around your tank that rotates Prestige 9: Spirit/Light Icon - A purple fairy Weapon - Magik Shot (Shoots an average looking shot the size of massive shot, but the longer it is in the air, and the more obstacles it touches in flight, the damage exponentially increases) Chassis: Crown Gun: Rainbow Tread: Faerie (Small circles with wings on either side) Effect: Gives the tank a white glowing aura effect as well as a halo. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From this point on, only name, icon, and weapon are listed so that the post doesn't exceed maximum character length. Prestige 10: Limbo Icon - A gray torch Weapon - Hades Servants (Shoots three black spheres similar to turretmob, when the spheres land, they rise up to the top of the screen and then release projectiles in varying directions before plummeting to the ground and digging to the bottom of the map) Prestige 11: Electricity Icon - A yellow charge Weapon - Tesla Coil (Shoots a plasma ball that explodes and rises into a large tesla coil, the coil draws in lightning from around and the lightning travels down the tower and shocks nearby enemies, this also draws in and collects all crates on the map) Prestige 12: Plant Icon: A pink rose Weapon - Garden (Shoots a green spiker that spawns buds, the buds do nothing, then a rain flare is shot, if a rain bullet hits a bud, it will cause it to sprout and shoot up, when it explodes, it turns into a flower) Prestige 13: Time Icon: a bronze clock Weapon - Clockwork (Shoots a grandfather clock flare that spawns a very large tower to spawn, the tank then fires a giant rolling gear towards the tower (does not do friendly damage) that hits the tower and causes it to fall into pieces) Prestoge 14: Disease Icon: a green amoeba Weapon - Quarantine (Shoots a green flare, then it explodes into a wide and very deep hole with vertical sides, there are spires on both sides that spawn mini-turrets) Prestige 15: Sulfur/Explosion Icon: An orange explosion Weapon - Ultranade / Grenade Chain (Shoots a very large multinade that explodes into 5 more grenades, that then explode into trinades that explode into regular grenades) Prestige 16: Life Icon: A tan lion Weapon - Stampede (Shoots 15 animals [Rhinos, Elephants, Zebras, etc] in verying sizes that fray out much like Needler, but when they hit the ground, they start running, crashing into enemy tanks) Prestige 17: Musical Icon: A silver music note Weapon - Rhythm Shot (Shoots a G-Clef flare that spawns a music staff that rises all the way to the top of the screen, music notes spawn with the left, right, up, and down arrows, when they fall they deal damage, but if the corresponding key is pressed the explosion is increased) Prestige 18: Universal Icon: A black and white galaxy shape Weapon - Galaxy (SSL2) Prestige 19: Darkness Icon - A black dragon Weapon - Shadowcast (Shoots a dark orb that explodes and makes the screen dark, a small flame lights up at the landing point that deals damage, then attractoids that are dimly lit attack from the top and bottom. Finally a Majoras Mask-like moon falls from the sky) Prestige 20: Radiation/Toxic Icon - A nuke symbol Weapon - Czar Bomba (Shoots a very large nuke, that explodes into a mushroom cloud, it leaves behind a green gas that damages over time and stays multiple rounds) Those are my prestige ideas, and I think the weapons are appropriate and not game changing overpowered but still worth the extra prestiges, and it would be cool to see the new icon to be used to other cool possibilities like achievements that give you different icons (I have a full thread on achievements as well) Post any comments or criticisms about my ideas, I like to hear feedback.
Some pritty good ideas, But what's even more impressive is the time that must of taken you to come up with this epic list, keep it up tho i think the big cheese should take a look at this and think .
I think that when you prestige, weapons should be able to level up another level.. so prestige one is level 6.. but in the end damage would be so high.. I gotta think this more through-..
i likeall the ideas except for the tank idea for the 10th prestige.. "grants you gold rimz" is stupid. if u want them buy them. it would be unfair to the people who bought them if people prestiged 10 times and got them FOR FREE . so no that is bad idea... other wise the others good ideas
I like the prestige system and the weapons granted should be novel, flashy, powerful and more spectacular as you rise in prestige. So here are my suggestions for PRESTIGE. #4 MARDI GRAS: shoot a multicolored flare at an opponent, 5 pintas drop down (slightly staggered) and burst once at lowest...they then rise back up 1/3 of the way and burst again, then rise up one more time 2/3 of the way up and burst for a final time. (does regular piƱata damage, just more of them) #5 DEATH STAR: acts like chopper by shooting green shots during it's flight, but pauses like moonball. During the pause the deathstar continues to shoot, this can result in some heavy accumulated damage. much..... much more than chopper could. #6 LEMONNADE: acts like multinade but with lemons, but wherever these lemons bounce they leave some sour yellow burning juice doing DOT damage 3 per. like flame. # 7 Rockin Roller: A regular roller but the fantastic thing about this roller is that it well....rocks. if you can land this roller inbetween two tanks, when the tank hits 0 >0 tank it does 15 damage but then rebounds off that o <o tank and heads in the opposite direction hitting that other tank for 15 damage, process repeats for 4 seconds bouncing between the two tanks ... speed and power of the roller could increase to magnify the effect (the closer the enemies the greater the effect). great for bouncing off tanks near walls or close clustered enemies.. the bouncing IS CRAY. #8 COLIDESPLODE: these balls (2) act like boundsplode doing boundsplode damage.. but if they touch EACH OTHER they create a "soft nuke" that does 30 damage, multiple collisions can occur and don't count towards bouncing. #9 QUARANTINE: shoot a flare at an opponent, creating a 1 inch wide hole that is 2 inches deep (vertical sides) with fortress like spires on each side, a direct hit does 40 damage.. then 2 turrets pop out of the spires and shoot at the nearest opponent. (hopefully the one in the pit) they do turret damage. trapping and tagging is the game with this one. i have posted some before, my favorite was Kchamp (SHOULD BE FINAL PRESTIGE) where a gloved kchamp fist is shot from your tank, distance increases power as does bouncing it off the side barriers (doubling it's power per bounce off barrier).. distance+bounce off walls + massive trick shot damage. insane damage potential if you could manage a long distance double barrier bounce hit... (massive like 350+) or instakill on rare occasions.
The Death star my favorite... it could be like instant replay and moon ball... stopping in mid air while continuing to shoot... then pause.... then keeps on..
For both of the rims (chrome and gold): From kChamp's side (if I was)...: It'll be highly unfair for the players who already bought it. They may even claim for their refund of coins!! So DENIED My Opinon: kChamp can add some other rims specially designed for Prestige Players. For Bonus: My Opinon: Every prestige should grant a 'Goodie Box' where you pick from 5 boxes with question marks on them after every game (as in NFS world after every game) and you can select one of several items including: 2 Tank upgrades, 2 weapon upgrades, 5 tank coins, 1 day free deluxe, or 5 items like jetpack, shield, etc. Until or unless specified here, all changes regarding Tank and Icon is very well appreciated. Lets Hope kChamp carry forwards the same. Weapons can be changed on kChamp's own will. *All Changes made are in bold.

prestige wep : deflowerer , or gardern uses blossom and sprouter togheter , but a bit more powerful ,larger , and then uses a wep like rain but more powerful , much more powerful ( i cant really think of anything creative lol) to tank : can they climb? do they home to eniemes or any side? (or 8 left , 7 right?) from my opoinon it looks good for a prestige wep
Pretty good ideas but there is one thing about some of these (#'s 5, 6, 8, and 10) is all auto aim. We have enough auto aim weapons like smart snipe, shockshell, dead weight, dead riser, rampage, blunderbuss, and attractoids. Sweeper and fighter jet is sort of auto aim also. Some of these weapons is pretty decent and some isn't so much but they are all auto aim which requires no skill to use them basically. I'd rather have weapons that depends on my shot, not just clicking a button to hit everyone on the map. All the others was good ideas though. I do agree with the others here about the rims also even though i'd like to have some rims sometimes lol.
I do not agree weapons should get exponentially better. Take a look at FireStorm for example: Easy 150+ damage. Probably the best and most powerful prestige weapon yet. If they got exponentially better over time, Prestige 10 will be a one shot, one kill weapon. It would deal 1000s of damage.
