I have two questions: 1. Has the calculation of MVP changed in the last week or so? It used to be based on XP I'm pretty sure, but a few games this week I swear I've done over half the total damage to the opposing tanks (plus kills) so it would just not be possible for me not to have the most XP, yet I haven't won any MVPs in like a week (normally I win every 2nd or 3rd game). 2. What is substitution? I see it mentioned on these forums all the time, but I've never had the opportunity to take over for quitters (which is what I get the impression it is)? Is it only for facebook or what? Thanks.
Substituion is where you take other peoples tanks who have quit in TDM (until they die) and Points mode. It can not be for all shot or team shot. Sadly you can't get xp from it and everyone can be a substitute.
ex Explanation - when I signed up I had a really bad computer - only saw a few shots touch the ground outside indi shot matches and the firing range until getting a slightly better computer. So it's for people with bad video cards.
Firstly, it gives a considerable amount more experience points. Secondly, it is the original and, personally, the best way because there is plenty of time to do other things like go on the forums, use youtube, and any other things outside the internet. It's also a nice way to see others' shots. On Topic: I don't think it's based on points/damage for the entire match, but possibly points/damage per turn average. For example, I had about 55 experience after 5 turns in a death match up until I died. Then the match continued for about 15 more turns, in which I am 100% positive the others caught up to about 550 damage. After the match was over I still received the MVP award which leads me to believe the 'point-per-turn-average' theory. Atleast something similar.
