Unable to delete "friend"

Some mr. JAYMANN added me on friend list months ago. He probably quit playing, but whenever I check my friend list he is always "online" and when click his name the window shows up and it says "Friend currently unavailable" so I'm unable to delete him...

Any ideas where's the problem?

I tried logging out then back in and that worked.

No, its a problem on his end, usually takes about 1-5 days to straighten out.

 

The problem is not on your end. It is actually an error 1002 on your friend "JAYMANN".

The thread here explains about the code and, in the end, he just had to wait it out until he was able to log in again. Every time I clicked on his name it came back with the same "Friend Currently Unavailable" response. I believe he was not able to get back on for 4 days. Just wait and it will work itself out..

Ah, beat ya' to it

 

I can't even click "Remove friend" because as soon as I click his name the window shows up saying that the friend is unavailable... Don't know what to do, refreshed, logged out/in...
I mean it's not a big problem or something, it's just very annoying

 

Ahh... Looks like you have beat me on 'timing'. Very slim chance of that happening. Cherish that moment. (Although, I explained it better. )

Don't worry bud. It's nothing you can do at this moment. Your friend (or soon to be removed) will be able to get on within a few days and then you can remove him.

OMG, why I didn't try this before

I added him as friend, even though he was already on list. After that I clicked on his name and deleted him, problem solved.

Like MindReader said, this kind of glitches can often be fixed by logging off and log in back again.
