Ok, I was thinking about something. You take money, buy weapon pack 4 with Seagull (Seagull is just an example). Weapon which used to do 500 damage. And after some time, developer decreases it's power and now you have something that you didn't give your money for. It's like "Hey guys new weapon pack has extremely high damage weapon, buy it ASAP!" You buy it, and after a while developer changes it. What do you think about this?
Well, lets be honest it was really somewhat a weapon that could have easily tipped a match to one team or person's favor if one had the seagull with the amount of damage as it used to do it was actually ridiculous to lose so easy because of it especially if someone used a shield along with it. It's actually good that he did change it rather than have it completely useless right? because at one point he did make it where the poop from the seagull shot randomly many disliked that so instead people suggested it's damage be reduced and everyone felt better about it once he did that.
i think the equivalent of a weapon that powerful is the addition of the x2 item, this way its not just one op wep, any wep can become op if the x2 item is used, i would rather have this because at least in this case it is more equal, anyone can get x2, as opposed to if someone before didn't have wp4 and was just hoping the opponent didn't either.
I don't think Archgoats point is whether it was reasonable that seagull was nurfed, but rather if it is wrong to take something away that was payed for. I think it was Kyles fault in the first place for not testing the weapon enough to see that it was overpowered before he released it. I think the right thing for him to do in his situation would be to have nerfed it like he did, but give everyone who bought the pack around 10 tank coins back or make a lower power weapon in wp4 more powerful (just something back for the nerf).
You don't have to pay with real money to begin with if you are patient you can earn the coins without paying a cent like most do, but paying real money is an option it's not really necessary to do no need to rely on an extremely powerful weapon either to win a game winning is good yes, but so is having fun without needing those really good weapons but trying to put yourself in Kyle's position everyone makes mistakes at one point no one is perfect we know ssl2 isn't perfect but every game will have it's bugs and quirks, errors whatever you want to call it i do think it was reasonable that he did nerf the weapon it was something people relied most of the time when they first check their weapons at the start of the game.
Ofcourse I don't need to pay with real money, but I'm not patient person. Um... I believe I didn't act like "OMG HE CHANGED IT WTF, HE IS "$%"&"#&%" or similar, so you don't need to defend him like that because no one's attacking him. I just pointed something out, and that's all.
Yes, i know but this was more directed at TheOnlyGod i probably should have replied to his post instead so you don't get the wrong idea.
I want to point out also that they will lose to the Chargers. Besides that to get back on point, we have no control and thus our lose if we buy it and it gets lowered.
