Cheating users

Trying to stop users from cheating in various ways (if possible).

I've noticed people playing with 2 or even 3 tanks and they can completely take over a game.
I'm fighting back to stop this crud so I'll start posting their usernames, starting with:

• jeromegaines/jeromegaines2 (that one is easy)
• Hypnotizer (known hacker/cheater)
• StepanXBOX/mahmed360 - another piece of shit using 2 tanks.
• Goldenboy99 - troll/cheater

When other cases are spotted I encourage people to post them here.

I think his main was 22 or 23 and his double was 4 or 5

If they won bunch of times in a row, then that is not a hack.
If they had lower points than you, then it is a hack

GoldenBoy99 is either a bot account for another player as with Jerome, or he's just a prick and a troll.
If you ever get into a TDM with this retard, he will shoot his own players and completely throw the game immediately.

It seems to me that we need a way for players to get banned or some other punishment so we can end these annoying trolls

 

Maybe a system where x number of reports gets a ban?

 

Not sure if that is possible.
Because kChamp is only editing the game, and not the computer.

But thats where kChamp can make players "Admins" who can ban,kick and reward players. Maybe but maybe not, it's up to him.

 

Maybe we should have a system where if a player does, say negative 70 damage in a day, then he gets a 15-minute ban, then it resets back, and if he does it again, it's 20 minute.

 

But what if you shoot yourself with a Boundsplode, that happens quite often to me, I can rack up -300 damage in a day if I'm tired..

 

Hmm...how negative 70 over a 2-game time span.

 

I don't think that would work because of accidental friendly fire, but then again it is pretty tough to do that much.

(Except in Charlotte's case apparently) lol.


I think the admin thing could work, but I don't know how much programming that would be since you can't kick someone mid-game.
I'm pretty sure if I don't know, it's alot of programming.

 

The problem is that that In-Game mod may be abusing it, or other things.

 

Obviously this game is already a spectacle of great programming skillz. I'm always thinking of how much testing and hours that could have been put into this... and probably still are.

 

Thats why all in-game moderators will have to be recognised by the community before being given the position of moderator. And even then we should be able to remove him from his/her position if they abuse the feature.

 

The last thing we need is a person with some ultimate-ego abusing his power.

 

That shouldn't even need to be said but alas, the world grows stupider...

And that's not anything against you, I'm just saying that needs to be said because stupid people exsist.

 

I dont really see a problem with this. Does it matter if your opponent is the same person or 2 different people? Its naturall for people to want to use more than 1 account, like if they want to play themself to get xp. I wouldnt worry about it.
