So... I was bored yesterday. I bought my step daughter a new bike for her birthday a couple months ago and we was going to throw her old one away but I decided to make something fun out of it with some old scrap metal/parts. Here is what I came up with lol. I still need to do a few small things to it and paint it lol.
This is another thing I built a couple months ago out of an old window AC and an old blender lol.. The blender buttons all control the fan also, chop is on high and blend is on low lol..
lol.......just.............lol The weirdest thing I've ever made was to deconstruct my old lap and try to run my lap again without cover (It didnt work and my lap never worked again XD) Btw, how do u get such ideas???
Maybe the wire ribbon came loose when you took your laptop apart? That sounds interesting though for sure. Lol I usually just sit outside and start looking at things I have and thinking what I could do with them. The fander (fan + blender), came from it being so hot outside and no air one day lol.. On the bike, I had built one similar when I was a kid.. Was an old bike sitting upside down and I got the idea to flip the frame upside down and make a tall bike.. then we had this old bike and I wanted to make another just for fun lol.
I never said I built this for her, I said I bought her a new bike and was going to throw this one away. If you could read past 10 words in you would have known that. I don't find making rude comments to be funny. I also mentioned I built this for fun, no where did I ever say I built it for her or that it was her riding it. Don't comment on my threads if you are only going to be a douche.
My first lap was kinda hard to open (maybe because it was my first lap). I have no idea, maybe it was a mistake doing it outdoors or I just put the wrong wires together or the wire ribbons went off, but the informaton I got helped me fixing my new lap
Yeah, don't clutter the thread with rude comments. I wanna see it filled with more crazy, but superfun ideas and projects! Keep it coming, I'm excited to see what else you've made Mr Einsteinyous
Thanks Arvidh, I appreciate that! That was still the mini version of the tall bike.. I am thinking of building a much taller version soon. I've been working on a bike trailer too but it's not finished yet
Haha, a bike trailer? That sounds promising You should build a bike with one wheel, and the option to actually steer it. Would be awesome lol
Lol I had to rob some parts off of the bike trailer for the tall bike but I should have it going again soon. A one wheel bike like a uni-cycle with handlebars? Lol I could build it but not sure if I could ride it anymore, maybe in my younger days. I did build my own version of a 2 person bike when I was younger, it had 3 wheels inline and the middle swiveled like a snake in all directions. It also had the middle and rear wheels as the drive wheels. It was always fun to ride too lol.
Haha, nice. Yeah, that would be cool! Riding a unicycle is hard, tried it a few times like 10 years ago. Awesome, got any pics on it?
the blender seems legit, have you even dared to put food in that "blender" of yours anyways nice stuff on what you did there
Lol yeah 1 wheel isn't easy to ride on.. I tried one before too and could never make it too far. This is a pic of the trailer starting out a when I first got it. I plan on making a flat bed, some side walls, a tail gate, and some sort of suspension on it because it's so bouncy. Was kind of thinking about making some sort of fold out chair on it also, Not sure what else I'll add but I'm always getting ideas. Yes, that is an oven loaded on it too, lol We only have a car atm and needed to get rid of it. Luckily it wasn't too far where I had to leave it. Lmao na it does keep me cool while im grillin though. I live as far south in Texas as you can get so it gets pretty hot in the summers here.
Hahah, at first glance I thought it was a huge box with 4 bass speakers Now I see it's an oven though, lol
I've had this done for a while now but forgot to ever post a pic of it with paint and one that you can see the bike better in lol. I've posted it for sale here locally though and will be building a much bigger, taller, and more fun of a tall bike here this summer lol.
Haha, great for people with long legs like myself. Although I find it hard to believe it's easy to ride with. Must feel like an unicycle, sort of?
Lol Yeah gotta have long legs to reach but it really is easy to ride once you get going. It is pretty rear heavy because the seat is so far back over the rear wheel, it doesn't take much at all for the front wheel to lift up when you pedal too hard. That does give it a bit of the unicycle feel but with the handle bars to hang on to and able to keep balance with the front end makes it much easier lol. It's a lot of fun to see how many people really do enjoy seeing it when I'm riding it Next tall bike I build will most likely have 26 inch wheels instead of the 20's on this one. It should be much more tall. This was the easy way kind of also, there is another way of stacking 2 bikes on top of each other to make a tall bike but those are much more hard to get on and off of while out riding lol.
