I think I've only seen this with floating boxes, although it could also be with regular boxes... Sometimes if you have another tab selected on your browser, or if you have the browser minimized or not active, and someone gets a box during that period, that box will stay on the screen. You fire at it and it doesn't trigger, but it just floats up there for the rest of the game. I have had some games where there will be 3 "ghost boxes", as we call them, on the screen at one time.
Yup, we all know about the ghost box bug. There should already be a thread on it somewhere. We just need to wait for Kyle to get bored enough to update this game...
All he has to do is make the game automatically refresh the graphics after switching tabs. This must be possible.
Here is something though about floating boxes... If there is a box that is very close to a steep piece of terrain... or in an area with a deep depression / dip in the terrain and through the use of a quake /megaquake as a weapon (of the ones that happen every 5 turns) the floating crate can be buried under ground (and in my experience) that are now unobtainable... even with the use of a tunneler or any weapon that can travel through the ground... they seems to just be "out of play"
