There should be a forum emblem on ssl2. It is like a deluxe emblem but instead saying D which stands for deluxe, it would have a F and "F" stands for forums. It will give you 5 weapons from retro pack 1 or 2. Some people will have the same weapons, and some people will not. To get this forum emblem you have to type in your username from the forums and password. Once you have it you can make a forum server, A game where only players with forum emblem can join. If you have deluxe and have a forum emblem you have an option to be a deluxe member or a forum member.
I'm personally against the 5 weapons from RP 1 or 2. And most people would just sign up for the Forums, get emblem, dump Forums.
I do believe there should be a reward for forum members in-game, but what you are explaining is a bit extensive. If you give a player that much just to sign up to the forums then you are going to get a lot that don't actually use the forums like Agent said.
But what's the main purpose of the altered emblem? Something different that stands out, or blunt advertisement for the Forums?

This really just seems like you guys wanting more free stuff so you are using having a forum membership as an excuse for it. Plus this would just make a huge number of new users flock to the forums and we'll be taken over by a sea of nubs.
Yep, completely agree. The forums are a way of communication and expressing thoughts, not a way to obtain free weapons/tank coins ingame.
Ya, this idea of all this stuff is kind of overkill. If you want users to come to the forums and actually have a lot of them be active then you should simply add a task that gives 3-5 tank coins for joining the forums.
I think for the steam version something should be given for all of us forum people. Maybe something like a tank. I was thinking the same thing for all of us that supported SSL2 and possibly voted for it to be green-lit.
or maybe we should start out just like everyone else and not be given something special just because we're on the forums, because theres already a reward spent for ssl2 time
Why not a forum tank? Tanks are just eye candy and it could be for anyone that that's been here so long or whatever.
but that should be reserved for ssl2 veterans, i dont want a dumb bonus no matter how minimal just because i signed up on this forums years ago
