    It happened to me as well the other day. I logged out, logged back in and it was fine. After I was back in, I tried to send a message to somebody but while I was typing, it kept shifting to another friend...So I messaged the wrong person. Anyone else have this problem?

    I'm surprised how bad this is getting. This used to be a random thing, now its more and more common. Also, can he fix it were it doesn't glitch while your trying to chat with someone where it jumps the last person on the list. Its really embarrassing when you send something to wrong person.... =.=

    Happens all the time, sadly enough...I was once yelling at Tank 1337 something awful because he wouldn't join my game, and I knew he was online! I thought he was just being a jerk, guess it was just a bug though :/
    Anyway all that needs to happen is for your friend to refresh, if they are really online. OR simply get online, it fixes itself.

    I think I have found out how to get around this bug. May be difficult though if you don't have another means of communication.

    I told a friend of mine that I couldn't send a message to her or invites via the Friend List Chat. She logged off and logged back in and I tried to send her a message after that. The Friend Unavailable Bug was no longer there.

    Maybe it works, maybe it's just coincidence? Try it out people and tell me if it works ;)

    yeah it works, the only problem is, how could you tell your friend to log off and on without forums, fb and so on?
    I made a game with the title: "name of the friend" only; if ur lucky he/she comes and you can chat in the lobby (might get exhausting for more friends)
    its not elegant, but it worked :)
