Hello there, As the title states, please post any in game clan suggestions you have that you would like to see in the Steam version of the game.
Yeah, I think if you're going to add clan stuffs to the game, perhaps add a whole clan section with the ability to see the other members/founders of the guild. And possibly even down the road add maybe some clan wars of some sort?
Also, for a "Clan Host" to be able to add or remove members as needed that no others have the permission to do so.
Clan tags Show clan tag in game Clan challenges and/or clan operations Custom clan achievements Parts/weapons/xp unlock via clan victories
Clan leader boards (Top clans) ShellShock Live Tournaments (Entire game/all clans) [Like a mode where clans can battle other clans through automatic random matchmaking, then the final winners can be determined by an amount of total points. -Going on this, maybe where it's 20 points for a win, 5 for a loss, 10 for a tie (Then maybe -2 for each member that quits) [I mean they shouldn't go in if they know they might have to leave] -Requires a team of 4 (So pre-party then searches for another team of 4 to battle) not allowed to leave once matched with another team. -Tournament lasts a month, then it starts over. Who ever has the most points, (as well as top 5 probably) wins (Obviously the team with most points is the winner-winner, and they get a chicken dinner) -Maybe like, medium wind. 45 second timers. Clans ranks Clans levels Name of your clan shows under your name hover profile thing. (System that denies obvious forms of dirty names, "cox, furck, shi2, c7nt, wh0re, "obvious curse words"") Requirement of at least 4 people to start a clan Clan specific items, (Clan level reaches level 7 then- you earned "Barrel 20" Option for users to make there own unofficial clan tournaments, against one or more clans. (http://i.imgur.com/ayio1.png) Like this, not like bullet #2. No items No x2 Clan report system (With mods having the ability to view reports, like it's sent to a mod after 15 reports, and decide for themselves) Clan profile pages Clan medals that can be displayed on the profile page Easy clan sign-up (A button that says join) [Leader/s either deny or accept) On clan profile page gives option to show # of wins/losses, trophies, tournaments participated, clan info, requirements, date created, # of members, etc... Maximum of maybe 20-25 members, so there aren't clans with like, 400 members. There should be even more to it, but for now. Some ideas ;o
Personally, considering how xp is given out in steam, bonus xp for being in a clan, and even more for participating in a tourney or clan battle (at the end, you get an xp bonus based on your placement and everyone gets a bonus until the next tourney) (This would attract more players to tourneys and clans and clan battles etc. Plus, with some stakes on the table it would make the games more competetive) Aesthetically, I'd say clan tanks, and to a lesser extent, clan colors that can be applied to someone's tank.
Also, for creating a clan, I would say maybe make it so that a person has to be level 20 to create one? If not 20, I'd say at least 15. Just s that they at least know what they're doing, or else they're be a whole lotta clans that don't know what's up, y'know?
1. The leader of the clan can chose the highest ranked player, most MVP player, player that is more active than everyone in the clan 2. 3 types of players in clan like... Member(lowest; does not have ability to do much) Co Leader(Has the same abilities as Leader but less) Leader(Can do anything around the clan like kick and other things) 3.Leader and Co Leader can edit the settings in the clan and make it a certain level or prestige for people to join the clan
This should not be so. Every other part I agree with, but not this. With this, it would force you to be in a clan to get full access to the game. That isn't right. What if [hypothetical user] didn't want to join a clan? He wouldn't be able to get access to more powerful weapons which clans have. That shifts the game to being 100% clan-based, which is NOT the point. Clans are optional, and this would make them almost mandatory. Include the other stuff within that post, but leave this out.
Clans are simply a way of playing more competitively among friends. That doesn't mean there should be clan-exclusive weapons. That isn't fair.
Clans don't have to have perks to have "meaning". They're just an extra way to have fun, you don't need to have bonuses for being in a clan. That's not to say XP shouldn't be rewarded for tournament/battle participation and victories.
Well said. Maybe, there can be a 1.5 xp/2xp bonus for those games (both multipliers, 1.5 when lost, 2 when won). However, just because you play other clan members shouldn't mean you get the 1.5/2 xp bonus. Clans are for fun, and I applaud Towel to emphasize this point.
