Is it me or is mega rainbow really hard to hit with?

Yes i know how to shoot it but i always miss by a few pixels.It also is really annoying sometimes at long range as it spreads out just enough to only have a few of them hit. Shouldn't it work like candycorn or five-ball?

You can always use the 5 angle strategy to hit it or 96,96 strategy

 

This works with all single shot weapons also. It's the easiest way to make sure you hit and it does 144 damage with mega rainbow.

Just use the aiming circle and make sure the first rainbow hits the enemy's wheel. The rest would proceed on and land dead centre on the enemy.

On a side note, I have seen people use it from a very far distance and still make all of the shots hit. Practicing in the Firing Range will help you improve your MegaRainbow. Just keep practicing.

 

Really i would like to see that.I see it used mid to close range...

On another note here is the max damage you can get from a perfect lvl 4 mega rainbow shot.The spreading makes you have to be so dead on!

 

Exactly, the further it is used, the more accuracy is needed. Just like every other shot. Only truly skilled players are able to use MegaRainbow with that degree of accuracy.

 

Damage seems to max out mid-range. Not much of a point using it at too long of a range, but it is possible, mainly if enemy is up against wall. (one of the first shots I did with megarainbow after learning how to use it was about the full distance of the map and hit all shots)

I dont use firing range much other than to record weap packs, and this :S
