So, I'm getting started in SSL2 (again), yet the quality of my gameplay has gone down, due to lag. Is there any way to lower the FPS or the quality any lower than the Very Low setting?
I don't believe so. You may be able to decrease your desktop resolution, however I would try the usual steps in decreasing lag such as deleting cookies and other uneeded things.
Try downloading CCleaner. Download it, run it, and it will delete all your history, cookies, broken files, cleans your recycling bin, gets rid of all unnecessary files. I use it allot, and it helps keep my computer running smoothly.
Or use avast! if you think there's a virus slowing it down. avast helps a lot for me, and malwarebytes for malware and other stuff. Spybot's found lots of viruses, and I use it mainly to find spyware. Otherwise CCleaner is beast to fix registry, cache, etc. Try upgrading with keys in description.
