Leaderboard

I would like to see a leaderboard/ world ranking system, that when viewed, can see everyone's ranking.

There would be a page for:

Top 500
Level 50's
Everyone else
Everyone

There could be features like "find a username" or a deluxe page

 

This was something that sprung to my mind, but once you get to level 50, would your position in the leaderboard be locked due to being max level?
Personal stats could be a cool option to have on your account, e.g highest xp earn or damage given/taken

 

If you're already level 50, then it'll probably be player with highest XP amount.

 

Ahh that makes sense, would be interesting to see that implemented and see who actually would be at the top and by how much!

 

The ssl1 leaderboard was based on XP, and I was in the top 250 (when I played it anyway, probably not anymore)
It also had win %age, which would be another good thing.

Plus, I love burning noobs >=D

 

I also think there should be a record board for most damage with A weapon (different pages for different weapons) and other stats, like most driven in a game, or most crates looted...

 

Well I think I would be one of the top few, but I havn't been getting XP that much lately.(Im at 614000XP)

Wow! I'm assuming thats level 50? Any idea how many players approximately play the game? to get an estimate of the size of a leaderboard should it come to exist.

 

My guess would be about 3500 players.

I think there are tonnes of players who, when they join, find out it's "not their cup of tea" and only play once, and never play again. So there could be 10,000 noobs who are level 10< and possibly more who aren't. But there could be 25k+

 

Well on Kongregate over 700,000 people have played the game, but I would say there probably isn't more than 1000 online at once.

 

I really want to see personal stats again, as well as winning %. My only issue with the leader board is that, with SSL1, people hacked to be at the top (high wind games, or public accounts etc.), so I don't think it'll ever be indicative of who really has the most XP.

As an aside, it was also hard to take winning % seriously. I remember on the old board, some of top guys had over 90% WP, which is unlikely if you play 3v3 or 2v2 games, and look for decent competition. So, if we do get a board for this version, I'd like to see columns for WP% based on game types, e.g., 2v2, 3v3, DM, point battles, etc.

 

Do you mean 700,000 unique plays? if so, the total number of users online at any given time would likely be much greater than 1000.

Right. So the 700,000 just refers to total number who have clicked on SSL2, in other words, 700,000 different people haven't played SSL2 on Kongregate.

Yes, a large number that play on congregate just play once for the achievements and never play again.

 

No doubt about that. All I'm saying is of the 700,000 clicks on SSL2 from Kong, probably about 80% of those are repeat customers, i.e., people who play the game on a consistent basis, since that number only refers to the amount of clicks.

 

We should change the thing under Xvio's avatar to, "Tech Help" or something...

leaderboards could also show the VDR VICTORY/DEATH-RATIO AND MOST KILLS-DEATHS

 

I hope are stats have been recorded before-hand to do that, but i would also like that.

 

Excuse me? Enough complicated chit-chat; I would like to see a leaderboard, end of. idon't mind what is in it, but just to see how I rank aganst everyone else.
