More Rim Colors

Well. As the title says, how about we can suggest more rim colors, but at a 200-400 price range? Chrome and Gold will be the highest priced.

Yellow-200
Pink-100
Orange-100
Grey-250

 

Why not all the ones you suggested be 150 TCs? it be fair

They could be...Well. Merged colors. Like the themes in the ShellShop. But those would probably be 300-600.

 

...Isn't that a bit...Well...Yeah. A decent price for those could be 1500-4000...

Like a rent, but I don't think that would work out so good. It says only for the most dedicated players. And it means something. It wouldn't mean so much if 50% more people had it.

 

Yeah, but also for the sponsors. Gotta give something special to the dedicators that sponsors.

 

The whole point of the rims was to be for "the rich people" who are the biggest "supporters" of ShellShock. That's the entire reason. It's for people to have unique tanks because so few people can get them. This whole topic's idea makes that pointless.

I'm just being realistic. If Kyle wanted to add the rims feature for everyone to customize their tank some by spending a couple hundred tank coins, he would've done that. The whole point of it is to show people who the prime "supporters" of the game are. It costs a lot, like Kyle said on here on Banna's topic. That's the whole point. It's not some feature that you can spend money on to help you win more. It doesn't help you at all. It's to simply show off that you spent more money than anyone else because the game is that special to you. If there are $140 gold rims that the top supporters of the game can buy, what happens when someone spends all that money and finds themselves in a game where they want to show them off to everyone, but there's some level 10 kid that spent a couple bucks on Yellow rims for 200 tank coins. If somebody doesn't pay attention, doesn't care, or doesn't have their glasses on, they won't notice a difference. Anyone who spends all that money on gold rims would be pissed because people don't care to distinguish cheap yellow rims from the extremely expensive ones. Same thing with gray rims. Why would anyone be able to tell the difference between chrome and gray? One is "shinier" than the other? Doesn't work like that. I'm being an ass, but that's not my intention. I'm just trying to be real. It's just wanting expensive stuff for nothing. Like "knock off" rims.

 

Rims are already like five pixels wide. How do you make something that tiny low quality to where it would matter? Ever seen a tank in a game with rims? They're already just spots on the tank. Like I said, it's a special feature for people who can spend a bunch and significantly SUPPORT shellshock. You don't complain to Ferrari and tell them you want one of their cars, but they should change the color and price it like a Honda.

Maybe different colours that look nothing like existing colours,at the same quality.
I also think there should be a way to get colours on your tank, like rainbow (in the signature above this post) and possibly other colours.

 

There could be like, a little popup over a tank that shows his/her status. Like when you hover your mouse over a tank, a little square popup will show his stats, and if he's friend or foe.

 

That changes a huge part of the game though. Plus it would be pretty irritating to have to hover over every tank to see which one is the enemy when you're half way into a game and everyone's scattered across the map

 

It wouldn't be so major. Generally, all your allies are on your side of the map, and if it's FFA, then everyone's your enemy.

 

How about the sell-able tank colors are different, but still says Ally or Enemy. Like different shades of Blue, or Red. Bright Blue/Red, Dark Blue/Red, ect.
