Didn't come out very big, but there isn't much to it... just a sniper at the front with a pink/purple pinger behind it.. Does 168 damage at lvl 3
I've been incredibly unlucky in getting it. Out of probably 30 games its only showed up once, and that was during a re-arm when me and 1 other guy was left with less than 50 hp each and he got first shot to finish the game, so haven't even had a chance yet to use it in game. A few others also expressed that its rarity seemed pretty high. While others said that they've gotten it a few times. Perhaps bad luck, perhaps some problem with the chance of it showing up in inventory?
I'm not really satisfied about prestige 8 weapon. I would have liked to find some more inventiveness. It's actually an overpowered sniper.
While I can understand one's wish for originality, the purpose of the Prestige weapons are to be powerful, not creative. I'd rather take a weapon that does 196 with one hit than a creative weapon that does 120. Besides, we've seen what creativity does with Kyle. Weapon Pack 7 is not that great. Still though, while it's a cheap copout, it's a very powerful weapon. Plus, there's two more chances for him to be creative so I say we should wait and see.
Yeah you're right because you think as a normal human being. Prestige weapons (the name suggests itself) should be a progressive way to earn weapons more and more powerful. What's the point to have an under-powerful weapon like thunderstorm whilst have before it a super-powerful weapon like firestorm and after that a super-over-powerful weapon like a freaking cool sniper? Aww... this game is awesom but things are made in such a randomness way...
I agree with you on the order of the weapons. If it were my booking I would say this would fit pretty well: 1st: Thunderstorm 2nd: Python 3rd: Pyrotechnics 4th: FireStorm 5th: Excavation 6th: MegaNuke 7th: Tsunami 8th: SuperSniper Tsunami is only above MegaNuke strictly due to the fact that, like the weapon after it, does nearly 200 damage if shot correctly on one person. That's near-death if you grab an X2. Still though, once you have all of them like we do, it doesn't matter much anymore. We have eight powerful, prestigious, mystique-surrounded weapons that newbies beg to see.
I still have yet to actually get the prestige sniper in a game as a start out weapon. <edit> and then the very next game I play after posting this I got it
