Rankings Beyond 100

Hey,

So this serves no real purpose other than my own (and maybe your) curiosity... I wonder what my (approximate) rank is?

Obviously(or I wouldn't be posting) I'm not in the top 100...but I cant imagine Im much further down than that..top 125-150 max

So I know this wont tell me exactly...but it can give me a rough idea of how many people are above me (honor system in place -- not necessary for screenshots)

I currently have 561K so... if you have between that and (as of last check about 1,050,000) just list your score... (the more people that post the better idea I (and the rest of us can get too)

 

A little suggestion regarding the leaderboard. SSL1 leaderboard contains 600 members, 600th had like 200k XP. We should have the leaderboard until around 800th.

 

Infact I should be like the 750th for only 1.7k xp

 

Level 40 players had at least 80,000 XP. Not 200,000

I personally think that having a leaderboard at all is kinda stupid....

 

The leaderboards changed up a lot today for the top 3 spots.. Who ever I R is just passed up TheOnlyGod and The Xvio from outta no where.. He wasn't even 5 mill XP yesterday and passed them both.. I really didn't see that coming. I knew he was up in the top 5 or so but just figured Xvio would have been the one to do it.

 

But I just made it on there 2 weeks ago and moved to 59th today

I really wouldn't mind if it was removed or anything.. I would however LOVE to see my wins/losses and ratio.. Also would love to see something for most damage done with each weapon on the game and that sort of stuff. Also have a number of games that has been quit. Then make that all public for every account so we could see each others stats before a game and also boot people that we can tell quits most games they are in. Anyways, just a wish list of mine.

 

I like your idea, I really do. Excellent to forewarn a host of any quitters present in a room. Great job!

Only downside, can be abused in many different ways. Using alts for high win to loss ratio, using multiple alts for stacking to do high damage, playing with low levels to have easy wins.

Then again, nothing can be done about abusal to any system. A little stat checking won't hurt, I suppose. I therefore support this idea!

 

Lol Yeah they can try to pad there stats but let em join a real room with real players after playing all those noobs and alts, we will tear em up and there padded stats too I'd really love to know how many games I've had to go through to get to where I am too. I went through the last 6 or maybe 7 prestige's in nothing but 1v1 games to level. Very very few games of any other sort for me lol. Thanks too, I appreciate that and hopefully @kChamp will think about this one too!

 

I am a complete stat nerd. If there are no stats that exist I usually try to make them. I'm all for stats and an extended leaderboard.

It doesn't have to be on the front page. Perhaps the front page could only have the 100, but somewhere on your profile it would say your ranking.

 

I so agree with this. I'm one of those people who love staring at a leaderboard, but now, it's like seeing the most professional auto clickers.
If only we had the auto clicker detection..meh, not gonna happen.

 

On most of all my old games I use to play, they all had auto clicker detection and all of them did ban people for it. I don't think it would be that hard for it to be put into ShellShock Live 2 but it would need more people to help over see the game than just kChamp. Just some sort of staff being able to watch over the game. I know my last game had some sort of "red flag" system the admins talked about. So many clicks in a certain amount of time and all at the same pace would send up a red flag of sorts and pop up for the admins to watch that user. Anyways, I've made it on the leaderboard and never used an auto clicker but yeah I'm thinking something is up with I R doing about 500k xp in a day or so at most. I think the most I ever put up in a day was 27k or 28k idk but it was a hell of a lot of playing that day to get that much.

 

How does auto-click gain so much XP?

 

500xp is definitely not legit. That's like reaching Lv50 five or four times in a single day.

I really, really, feel sorry for TheOnlyGod.
Oh and the legit players are below top 5, I can see an enormous amount of XP differences.

 

Meh i don't even have 200,000xp yet but i think this might be an interesting addition.However as others have said most of the top players have cheated in some way.So leader boards are pretty pointless... The top 5 i bet most of them cheated.

 

Cheating gains you no respect whatsoever. At least not from me...

 

Its about looking good in front of others. No one is impressed but its all in the head.

 

Am I the only person that thinks I R actually hacked the XP? Let me put in my calculation.

Despite whatever moronic Prestige player is going to tell you a 6-way 30-turn will get you the most XP in the least amount of time, the real quickest way is to play 1v1 300 HPs. Playing regular players will do maybe 3,000-4,000 XP/hr depending on what time of day, and an alt tank will deal 4,000-5,000 XP/hr. Per hour, you can gain as much as 6,000 XP, though that's a real stretch and realistically speaking you will do between 4,000-5,000 XP. Even at 6,000 XP/hr, you could only do a maximum 144,000 XP per day. I R jumped ~220,000 XP in 24 hours to top the leaderboard, because he was under THE xvio and TheOnlyGod. That sounds like he was doing something extra in order to make such a large jump.

That was completely off-topic but it was brought up here so I figured I'd throw in my two cents. Anyway, I think the top 100 leaderboard is fine the way it is. At 561,000 XP though, you are nowhere near the top 150. Currently at the time of this post, #100 is Angacam at 1,095,702 XP. The next nine spots only vary by ~45,000 XP. The entirety of page 6 only varies by ~61,000 XP.

Realistically speaking, you are more than likely, at best, in the lower top 250. Most likely, top 300 or top 400.

A top 500 leaderboard could be cool to see. Would give more players the spotlight, but considering how this game doesn't have a real large following, top 100 does just fine.
