Well, he was talking about trading cosmetics to friends within the game. If that was indeed what he meant, there would be no point, because you wouldn't want to trade the few things you have.
Also, I wouldn't bet on the scenario you proposed in the post above. kChamp has to approve of anything like that, and he could choose to approve or deny. He himself is the sole factor who will determine if you get to sell those parts or not.

 

I want a revamped points mode that gives points for using bumpers, portals (not x2 for oblivious reasons) and can even place those target markers from the missions in there too for skill shots.
