I'm sure you are all familiar with Tank Coins, but not many people can or want to get them because they cost real world money. Well here's something for the free-to-play players, who don't feel like spending their money on a flash game, yet still supports income from Tank Coins.

Methods of earning Tank Tickets:

You can find them in crates in quantities between 25-75, about as rare as an item.
Every time you get 1000xp, you will be rewarded 15-25 Tickets.
Every victory gets you 1-10 Tickets, depending on the length of the round.
You can trade in Tank Coins for them. 1 Tank Coin gives you 25 Tank Tickets.
Daily login bonuses: 1-10 tickets for each consecutive day logged in.​

Typical prices:

1 Tank Coin: 250 Tank Tickets
Weapon Pack (10 weapons): 4,000 Tank Tickets
Map Pack (10 maps): 1,500 Tank Tickets
Tank: 1,000 Tank Tickets
Theme: 500 Tank Tickets​

For people who already have a lot of XP, they will get their Tickets worth from it by this:
Tank Tickets earned=50(XP/1,000)

 

so... this is going to be in the next update?

I like this idea. Support.

 

I'm not one to spend money on a flash game.
But if the game get big / fun and with enough variety, I know I would then.

i.e. I dumped over $300 in a flash time management war game called Thirst of Night by Kabam

But I would love to have something like this to earn while the game grows and develops to something mind boggling.

I.E.
I could someday see this game supporting 7 vs 7 players or more with scrollable maps

Well it would take a long time to configure I believe, but it's definitely possible. I'd really love it and it woudl be good for kChamp too since it will rake in some profit for him.

 

Seems like a pretty good idea, although I don't think it will be added because kChamp tends to work on updates that increase profit, not lower them. Like I would get 15990 tank tickets just for my current XP, but I hope there is a way this can be added.

 

I think I mentioned an alternate purchasing method of packs that are enabled to be purchased with Tank Tickets via Tank Coins as an "instant purchase" so that people can decide to just spend their real money rather than spending a ton of time waiting to purchase stuff. I've seen this method used in other games, so I'm sure it will work here too.

 

Ya I guess this would work, but maybe instead of having them work like tank coins, they could buy other items, Such as the stuff you suggested in your Rare Loot thread.

 

Good idea. I have finished leveling up, and I guess all my tickets would come from my OTT hoard of XP. It takes me ages to find some coins, so tank tickets would be an awesome addition.

 

Oi mate. Missed what you said here. In hindsight that's not that much, as you would almost be able to buy 2 weapon packs. So most people would opt to purchase it with real money as it would take ages to finally accumulate enough for something in the shop.

 

Ya, I guess I would only get about 100 tank coins, so It might be a good Incentive.

 

Well 100 tank coins is quite a bit, but it would be a better investment to just buy a weapon pack rather than converting to Tank Coins really, so it all balances out.

 

I think it could have potential as an incentive to play, and I would personnaly like to see something like this in a future update.

If you trade 1 Tank Coins for 25 Tank Tickets, but be able to trade 150 Tank Tickets for 1 Tank Coin...Isn't that a bit outweighed?

 

The thing is, if it was even, people wouldn't bother buying Tank Coins. I don't want to discourage people from doing so, so why not just make it ridiculously expensive?

 

I see what you mean. It's easier to earn Tank Tickets than Tank Coins.

 

Exactly. I'm trying my best to keep it balanced so that while the free-to-play userbase is more satisfied with the game, kChamp is still gaining profit from it.
