I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a biased response here, but I figured I'll ask anyways. For those who aren't aware, ever since Shell Shock Live came out on Steam, like other steam games it has it's very own forum. Before the player surge, the steam forum was hardly used at all while this one was used a lot to discuss about SSL. Now that the player surge has happened, there is a good amount of people using the steam forum while most of us still use this one. From the past couple of weeks, it looks like Kchamp has been paying close attention on the steam side of things rather than here (not that I blame him but now is not the time) and that judgement call was based on the amount of fixes he has been doing on the game, where I've seen these complaints on the steam forum and not here. Again, each forum has it's pros & cons and I'll probably look more in depth the steam forum to see any major differences. I want to hear you're guy's thoughts.
This forum is more specific and is more in-depth. Everything about SSL can be found here. Steam game forums are a lot smaller than most official forums anyways, they're just there for questions and trading most of the time I noticed.
I like both forums. Obviously, this forum has worked well for a long time and is the official forums. Steam forums are definitely less convenient, but if he is comfortable talking there, it's all good with me. He just has to talk SOMEWHERE.
Is it possible to group them together? Or someway to redirect one to another? Because I don't think it's good to separate users and posts into half, it just make things more complicated.
This forum was a cage match back in the day. Rival clans, people's opinions with negative opposition. It was unhealthy just to speak your mind in a friendly way.
