Now that wind gives a XP bonus using wind will probably become more popular. For you arc-ers out there, this is the formula with wind: Angle = 90 - Circle_Lengths*4 ± Wind_Speed/14 Basically, every 14 wind speed affects your max power arc shot by 1 degree. This does not include some "slow" weapons (weapons that have a slower initial velocity). For these weapons, the effect is doubled. Therefore, every 7 wind speed affects your arc shot by 1 degree. List of these weapons (Probably forgetting a few): Seagulls (of all sizes) Comets/Asteroids BFG Chopper Special Note: Don't use Attractoids in wind (maybe if under 14 wind). They will all miss and you will feel sad. Finally, remember that for most weapons that do stuff after initial impact; they will still be affected by wind. This includes: Any sort of weapon that falls from the sky (ex: air strike) Builder/Digger Special Note: The second bounce by Bounder is unaffected by wind (so its safe to use in high wind)
Also, assuming 99 wind is as powerful as 15 wind on the old SSL2, you find that you need 6.6 wind to create one wind there. I am not sure if 99 and 15 are the same power, so I'm not sure if this is valid. Just a little side tidbit about wind correlation.
Oh, I was actually doing a different measurement. I wasn't focusing on how wind affects angle; I was focusing on comparing wind strengths across the games. I don't think it can be accurately tested, so I guess my previous post would be a theory.
