This isn't a big change and most likely something only I would care about, but I still feel like it would be a nice touch to the game. Every time you level a weapon or unlock a new one, for those who don't know, it shows a grid with every weapon in the game and unlocks whatever you upgraded or unlocked. However, there is no other way of seeing this grid except for when you unlock a weapon. I think there needs to be an option in the "Weapons" tab when you're in the tank menu to swap it from a list of all the weapon to that grid. As I said, It's just a small touch that would be nice to see. Thanks for reading!
Are you referring to that box after you level a weapon to the next tier that shows briefly? If so, I would assume you wish that grid was available to look at on a tab anytime you wish.
Yes, where there is that whole grid of the weapons. That is exactly what I'm referring to and would want available.
How about to improve it: We have it so when you hover over a weapon on that chart your able to see all the xp you've earned on it/ how much you need till the next.
Are you implying we completely get rid of the weapons tab we have now and replace it with the grid, but improve the grid so it still shows the information that the current one shows? If so, I like where you're going and agree.
Yes; in the corner, there should be two symbols. One has the view we have now, and you click on it to see that view. The other one has it's own symbol you click on. That way, we trash nothing and don't anger anyone.
Would this do? It's pretty self-explanitory. The one of the left is our current system, and the one on the right is the would be grid. These would be located in the top right of the weapon tab, and the player can switch between them without difficulty. Seems like a good basis to me. What do you think? Fun Facts: -Was done in Microsoft Paint -Took 30 minutes to finish -That writing is *almost* like mine in real life. Not my signature. Like many people, it's VERY different from my normal writing.
Do you mean these would be in a smaller clipart form of what you show here? If so, that's amazing. However, I've realized I don't know how well the grid would fit or look in the tab considering the tab was made specifically for the original listing format it has now. There would need to be changes to either the tab itself or the grid for it to seem like a good fit.
This is true. I don't think the tab needs changing, though; I think the chart can be enlarged a little. If you do that, you can scroll down and across (new, potential possibility) to view all the weapons. It would be navigable and easy to use. At the top would have the percentage of weapons you had unlocked (like in the progress tab, just more conveniently placed), too. Clicking on a weapon would produce a large textbox-esque feature with similar features as our current system. There could be a cool glow, too, around the edge of the textbox. I could try to do that tomorrow; I am far too tired now. It could look pretty cool. And yes, a smaller version of those drawings could be placed in the top right corner. Sort of like the filter things at Amazon and other online stores.
What do you mean by being able to scroll down and across? Like when you have a webpage too small and it has two bars to scroll and have to move it like that, or like a click and drag method of moving around. Also, when you say like amazon do you mean like a checkbox or like two buttons that just have the clipart to click on?
It functions the same way as our current weapon tab. You don't grab a scroll bar, you just move the cursor toward the edge of the screen and it moves down. Apply that to the sides, and that's what I was talking about. We don't necessarily need scroll bars to do that. Pretend the search is the weapon tab and the items in the corner are the different views. This was the comparison I tried to make.
Could have it where you hover over it pops up a little bit, and then when you click on it, the weapon expands with the name & description (if we ever have descriptions) with the weapon xp at the bottom. If the weapon is locked when you click it, the box will be greyed out and it should tell you how much weapon xp is needed or the requirements to unlock said weapon. Personally the weapon grid feels so neglected only to admire it's beauty for a few seconds, and I definitely approve this idea of having it used in other aspects of the game.
