Yea that video convinced me to buy it too. It is worth the 80 tank coins. Only have 241 left :/

 

Someone mind telling me the best condition for Sun-Burst.

 

It's when the enemy has "free space" around him, so that the circle of the sunburst can grow and than pinch itself on the enemy... like in the video I've posted. The problem with SunBurst comes when the enemy has hills around him so that the pieces of sunburst crash onto the ground.

 

I think they should make the lightstrike projectiles coming from that sorta fade after reaching a certain distant.

 

Im broke now ;(. Well it is awesome and totally worth the 80 coins. It was well worth the time it took to develop.

 

After all these opinions I feel that weapon pack 4 is well worth the price. I'm glad I didn't save up my 170 tank coins for nothing. And thank you for the video, TankFrank. I am going to really enjoy this pack!

Well I would let you except for the fact that I have a facebook account and I havn't bought the pack yet. I do think they are worth buying though.

Ya it's 80 tank coins, so if you get enough I would suggest buying it. I am on my itouch right now so I can't buy the pack right now either.

Just purchased Weapon Pack 4.

I won't be using it the way the two players I played against did. The two players who owned Weapon Pack 4 apparently used all their WP4 starting weapons then forfeited when they ran out of WP4 weapons.

This is my analysis of the weapons:

Keep in mind the damage is for level 1.

Mini Turrent – Not affected by distance. Fairly consistent 75 damage even with miss much greater than Bounder. Direct hit with turrent does additional 20 damage.
Tunnel Strike – Combination of Helicopter Strike and Moles, with Moles spreading out slightly as they rain down. Good crate harvester. Typically does 25 damage against single opponent, but often 50 and sometimes 75.
Sunburst – Lots of things going on, but primary burst does max damage when it has room to spread out and collapse, such as when target is on top of hill. Excellent crate harvester, I have yet to miss a hovering crate anywhere on the board relative to the burst.
Beacon – Flare weapon with flare bouncy like Grenade. Not very good crate harvester because ascending then descending column is narrow.
Bowler – Ten pins plus ball. Pins spread out but pin damage increases with distance, from 1 per pin at minimum distance to at least 6 per pin at max distance. Ball damage is consistent 20 regardless of distance. Ball bounces like stone and can strike multiple times.
Zits – Similar to Area Strike, but more damage per hit, fewer hits, and builds small mounds instead of destroying terrain. Weaker weapon than Area Strike, at least against single opponent.
Pinger – Bounce weapon like Digger/Builder, but does not affect terrain and bounces around close to strike zone and right on it. Most effective with dead center hit but can damage with close shot. Relatively poor crate harvester but slightly better than Beacon.
Spreader – Flare with small bounce of flare. 9 rollers drop with middle roller being stationary. 4 roll left and four roll right. Maximum of four rollers hitting single target for 15-60 damage. Pretty good crate harvester.
Funnel – Creates a large funnel of terrain. Two “Bounstrike” rows jump up slightly above the top of the funnel and fall into it. Damage per ball ranges from 3 at minimum range to at least 6 at maximum range. Can be used to harvest low hanging Hover Crates.
Cats and Dogs – Rain style flare weapon with small bounce of flare. Damage ranges from 12 to 24 per cat/dog. Poor crate harvester about the same as Pinger.

Verdict:

For a newbie that can't fire accurately WP4 is definitely the best pack. Spreader requires almost no accuracy to do significant damage, and can do 60 damage against a single target with good accuracy. Mini Turrent will do 75 damage if it hits close, with 95 damage for a dead on hit. Tunnel Strike spreads out more than Helicopter strike and does more damage.

For a player with pretty good aim it ties with WP3. Average damage is slightly less, but it is better for harvesting crates.

For a player that can routinely do 250+ damage with Seagull, WP3 is slightly superior.

For any player WP4 is more fun.
